Hi there, First than all I'm glad that you did'nt got hurt and that your truck is still in good shape after all that, I have read all your postings here and i am drooling over your truck,I would like to know about the lifting kit that you did put on truck, how does it feel and how does it ride while you are offroading, you see i got a little problem with mine,it came with a 3 inchs lift on it when i bought it (spacers)and it rides like crapp ,too stiff and not very safe and i'm looking forward to get rid of it by getting some billis like you did, at first i thought about some king coilovers shocks in extended lenght but those puppies are pretty price you know..(nearly 1g)and billis in the rear but now after reading your comments i wonder if you could give some details about all the upgrades that you have done to your truck (the suspension)I like the way yours look and i can't wait to fix mine the same!!

You might just try turning that code off, and it might go away, my brother did it and his hasn't come back on. Worth a try unless you start getting bad gas mileage

Geez man. I didn't know that was a common occurrence. I don't know when I'll ever fix mine though... :(
Thanks for the compliments man! The front Billes are much better compared to stock, but I've got mine set at 2.5" so the coils are compressed more so translates to a stiff ride. Its drives better on-road with a night and day difference. On camping/fire roads, it can be a little stiff when you hit pot holes and whatnot. I don't know how capable they are on actual OHV trails. I've only done an easy trail at URE and they did well there. My setup is 5100's, stock leaves, and +2" Beefed Taco shackles. This is probably my favorite upgrade, suspension wise. The rear is noticeably softer than the front. It handles sudden jarring and bumps much better. I hope I answered everything, but if not just shoot me some more questions and I'll get you answer bud!!:D

How do I go about turning the code off until I get new sensors? The CEL is sooooo annoying.

Find someone with a code reader and have them turn it off. The auto parts stores won't turn them off, but maybe find a guy who has a small repair shop or something and see if he will turn it off, you might be able to turn it off by unhooking the battery, but idk?? But if you try the battery remember it resets your trip od and your clock and radio stations

Yeah I know what your talking about. I do the trick where you turn the key from off to on 5 or 6 times til it beeps and resets the light but the damn light comes on every time I slow down in a lot so I've just let it be.

I've been riding the fence on getting one, but I don't need it. Thanks, I've had it for awhile but its been neglected. I'm starting to work on the truck again.
Today I bought a new filler panel that goes under the head lamp. It was Desert Sand Mica, paint was peeling, dirty as heck, and started to get small amounts of rust. Sanded it down, cleaned with mineral spirits, sprayed one coat of primer, sanded some rough spots out, and just put another coat of primer on. Tomorrow I'm gonna lay down some Krylon White Gloss and Clear Coat. Got my fingers crossed that it color matches well.

Well what I would like is:
    some plate front bumper
wrap around rear bumper like the Elite one, but high clearance like the wrap around ATO's on 2nd gens like larry's
Beefier front suspension, and rear if need be
    Sliders and skids
Dump the exhaust after the axle
    Wet Okole seat covers (leather)
New h/u, current one is going haywire!!!!
    33's
Fix or replace current bed or build a tube bed
Not really concerned about performance stuff, but a SC would be nice and a built 5vz
Replace all the lights on the front with new stuff
Satoshi or mount Hella 500's in the grille somehow
If I ever get to the time and place, go SAS. I DON'T want it to sit super high though. I'd like to see a SAS with 2.5"-3" of lift so its still streetable and not a PITA to climb in and out of (for a GF, ladyfriend, short peeps, whatever)
    I think that's it... :D

Well already got the suspension halfway done. Its better than stock. I can't decide on getting it back to looking good (fixing bed and replacing lights, interior, audio) OR just armoring up first with skids, then slides, and bumps.

True, but god I'd love to have the truck looking like new for once before I start chopping and welding on it.

Picked up a steel bumper, lower valence, and turn signals yesterday from mat. Threw the sigs on asap and looks so much better! Thinking about fixing a dent in the bumper and either painting it white or black. Which do y'all think would look better? I'm kinda leaning towards black just so I don't have to worry about the white matching perfectly, but white would look sooo clean

This bumper is tougher than I thought it would be to fix.
