I've had mine on for about a year and a half. Mine's a 2016 MT and has 90K miles now, I've owned it since it was new. Still runs smooth as glass. I have the yotawerx Stryker tune on it. It drives a million times better than it does from the factory.

Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger with 87mm pulley, Catted OVTune dumptubes, Doug Thorley 2.5in y-pipe, custom mufflers, 76mm Tundra throttle body, 5.29 Yukon gears, JamesT custom fuel rails, Yotawerx 87mm tune, Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension. And some other stuff.
I second that. The Yotawerx tune is many times better than the Magnuson tune.

So…. With the specs out on the 2024 hybrid, what does the group say to this comparison:

    1) Magnuson added to my 2018 at say…. $8k.

    2) Trade in at $15k delta for a 2024 OR Hybrid.

That’s a net difference between the two of $6k.

It’s possible the trade in delta is $20k making the difference $11k.

I *think* the hybrid 2024 will outperform a magnuson on a 2018 in all meaningful comparison metrics. I think the trade in/up is the better choice.

You won’t get much of the Magnuson “investment” back unless you part it out when you sell it.

True, good point. It’s like optioning up a mid tier to include all the goodies of the top tier; resell favors the top tier purchase.

I’m betting on a $48k - $50k base price for a 2024 OR hybrid. That’s a 22% - 27% increase over today’s base 4x4 DCSB OR. So it’s probably a $20k trade in gap. Damn. 1.5 years ago I could have traded in for the latest model for about $4k.

Still, I don’t think I’d spend $8k+ on my current rig to save $12k over getting a new one. I’ll just keep driving it until I truly need that towing capability.

if anyone is going to put the 87 pulley on their Maggie, please make sure to flash an appropriate tune. not sure if this has already been mentioned in relation to this specific discussion. I have the yotawerx 87mm tune running now. Im sure any would be better than the stock Maggie tune. it's garbage. I, personally, believe a good tune is a vastly more noticeable improvement over stock performance than the addition of a smaller pulley.

Just curious if anyone has changed the belts after the Maggie install, how much of a pain in the rear was it if so? What needed to come off?

Do you mean the stock belt or the Maggie belt? Maggie belt is stupid easy, nothing comes off.

Anything bolted over the stock serpentine system would have to come off...it looks to be a pain in the ass for sure.

Halfway through install, the front SC mount bracket is not lining up with the hole in the cylinder head.
    Anyone else have this issue?

Is everything else torqued up? If so, loosen up all the aluminum bracket a SC mount bolts.

everything is torqued per spec, i even removed down to the upper intake manifold and reinstalled to make sure its not some mounting issue. the aluminum pully bracket is not cause the issue, its as if the supercharger is too low. if i loosen the two bolts that mount th SC to the intake i can get it, but then the SC and intake manifold sealing surfaces arent parallel.

i guess i need to pull the lower intake manifold too
