    It wouldn't hold an idle. I'll rephrase, the carb was complete shit. You had to hold the clutch in with your left foot and hold the brake and rev it with your right foot when you came to a stop.

    Just ditch the stock carb and throw a holley 350 on it. Thats what we where doing with the toyotas when we where racing them the last few years. We would bore them out, do a little head work and a cam and those little motors come alive. The little toyota truck that I was racing up at Citrus County Speedway sounded more like a big outboard engine than a little 4cyl.
