I just replaced my center carrier bearing on my tacoma. Old one literally had no rubber left and got bad real fast. Not the first time I've had to replace. I am now nervous because I added grease into the carrier bearing like some had suggested on youtube if the bearing did not already have been greased. Not sure that is a problem. I'm just nervous that the bearing with the rubber does wiggle a little bit and wondering is this normal to be able to move a little but which I know the rubber obviously isn't that strong. Maybe cheap quality? Hoping someone can respond just freaking out I got to put the driveshaft back on truck for work and don't have time to take yoke and bearing off all over again probably ruining the bearing in the process. Thanks to any help on this

    100% normal.
They move a little from the factory.
That’s the reason there is a bushing.
If they didn’t want it to move, it would be a solid mount.

Awesome thank you for response. Unfortunetely I'm stuck on last u-joint install and the needles became magnetized as I'm trying to seat. Eventually I'll get it though just been a extra long weekend...
