Someone told me that if you tune a carb in one place in CO, it will be off across town.. take that as you will

 

It's such an easy bike to ride, very enjoyable. And now with the 1200 engine they have some great torque!

 

Those saddlebags look great on that bike

Got my boots in.. but the guy ordered the black/gold ones instead of sand like I thought he was going to order. They cant swap them back until i drop the old ones off. Should i keep the black/gold? Its a 2.5 hour drive to the place..

 

Since it was their fault, I wouldn't go back unless they give a slight refund or something. Time/gas/hassle. Maybe some store credit?

I dig the Black/Gold though.

 

Triumph makes a similar scrambler. A friend had one and really liked it before he moved up to a 900 Rally Pro

 

I'd play hardball if they screwed up the order.

 

I want the boots though. Researching ways to get them these, so i don't have to drive back

 

Maybe they'll make it right without any hassle. The dealer I bought my bike from forgot to give me the stock seat. He offered to ship it to me without question. Luckily I was headed to camp and the shop was only gonna be 5 miles out of the way. Thought it was still a nice gesture.....good enough that I always check their site to see if they have any of the bikes I'm window shopping for at the time

 

Welp, if you want the sand, only a few choices

 

Have them cover the shipping cost to send them back. Can't be that much, esp if you use their corp account.

Or ask for like 10% back and live with gold. They look pretty good as is.

 

They're checking on getting me a label.
*edit* no go on the label. Its $26 if I ship them myself

I can cover the cost of the Sand boots, ship them the gold ones, and then in a few more days have the sand like I wanted..



kinda like the black/gold. They were originally my first choice, until they convinced me otherwise. Hmm im gonna think on it a little more

 

I would think that if it was their mistake, they should be on the hook. You shouldn't have to come out of pocket. That's the very least they could do....should really throw in store credit or a discount.

I would be pissed if I ordered grey/sand and received black/gold. They are two totally different color schemes. What was their response when you told them they ordered the wrong color? What color is listed on your order receipt?

 

Invoice in the box says black/gold. I threw away the physical receipt that i had unfortunately.

Im a little upset (also rarely get mad, just disappointed) but i wanted both colors lol. I think im going to cover the cost of the sand ones, and ship the gold ones back - because no way ill spend $26 in gas to get down there and back. Thats like 2 tanks of gas in the truck, plus traffic

 

unsure tbh i know i have a jett for that altitude thou and i know people ride these things in Co so idk
