Understood. Things happen. When I was searching for taillight options I kept finding positive after positive review of the VLEDs. Other full replacements had mixed reviews. I'm sure some are great though.

Too bad you're not local. In an effort to reduce the chrome bits on our Taco I replaced our OE taillight housings with some Pro/dark ones. So I still have the originals from ours. They're in perfect condition and I was thinking about selling them. They pop up on craigslist and FBMP here pretty regularly so I'll bet there's a reasonably priced set in your area.

Didn't want to make post so figured I would ask here. Has anyone done grill replacement/swap? I have 2023 SR5 SX, I want to install those raptor leds but my grill is not compatible. If I do so and swap the grill, will the front sensor be lost?

Replaced my SR5’s with one from Taco Garage. Sensor will still work fine, but will be on a different spot on the new grill. Lights from R4T.

Should not be a problem. As per Joe Rogan, Tacomas were built to last for 30 yrs after the end of the world. My kind of truck.

Did exactly what you want to do. Although ours is a TRD OR, the TSS is the same. Swapped our grill for an OE Toyota Trail Edition. Moved the sensor to the new position and it works perfectly.

You'll find that the Toyota OE garnish you'll need is insanely expensive, but aftermarkets work just as well. Per @OscarWildwood, I also bought the . It's hard to tell from the photo, but their garnish is a darker color than most others and matches the new grill pretty well. Lots of good YT DIY videos. Very easy to do. BTW, didn't do the raptor lights, but they are dead simple to do as well.

Install was easy peasy! Tried to attach a video but I think y’all already know how they work. The sequential pattern is smooth at butter. I did have to widen the wholes on both replacements so they sat flush once clipped in, but no biggy. Stoked!

You could just tell it had a little too much plastic still inside the actual whole from production. Just took a couple scoops with my pocket knife lol.

Lift plus the wheels, grill and locker. Prob still priced above where it should be but it’s not for everyone. I would choose the locker over crawl control any day of the week.

You don’t get fogs which sucks but they are pre wired.

Now that rack looks good. I will keep this one in mind. It’s my next upgrade. Good looking truck.

Did they give you your old fog lights and bezels? If they did it would be a super easy switch back. If they didn’t, I’d go get them back.

I had a vehicle in between unfortunately so I’ll probably just need to start fresh.

I pulled the trigger an ordered a Stage 3A kit with Fox Performance Elite Series shocks from Accutune today.

That should be the last mod for the Tacoma for awhile. Keyword “should”.

To all the positive comments, again, thanks, I appreciate it.
To answer Abominator's request- I think so.
I've had a few people ask about either making these or if they could get the print file. I think between my buddy and myself ,we don't have the time or are set up to make these and send them out, plus, these were kind of a prototype/ proof of concept, and there's a few things that would have to be sourced by the end user.
But, that being said, I believe he's good with making the print file available. Im not sure if there is someway to make a file for it here on this site, or if he should send it to one of the sites like Thingiverse, and anyone can get it there. Maybe someone has a suggestion on that.
As far as parts you would need to scrounge or source, there are some rubber feet, and spacers, plus a few 10-32 or 5mm bolts. I cant provide much info on the rubber feet or spacers as these were scrounged out of the "all providing dumpster of treasures" that is located at work. See pics below.

Ah dang. My buddy bought a 4runner TRDOR and got the pro package put on it. They tried to keep all his take off stuff. I was just wondering if this was the same kind of thing. Your truck looks great BTW!
