It's a duplex (basically a 2-unit townhome building), and the garage of the unit on the left is being used as a sales office for the development. The house on the right has the garage intact, but you will also notice that neither house has a driveway at the moment. The pathway and the landscaping will be torn up and replaced with driveways once the models are sold...

A finished basement is available on all floorplans, but obviously at extra cost. The first model that we went in was the Faraday, and the finished basement does not show a bathroom on the floorplan in the brochure. The brochure describes the house as being 2,508+ square feet, 3-4 bedrooms, and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms; I counted 3 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms if the basement bath is included...

Well that seems like an odd hodgepodge of styles.o_Oo_O

Shingle roof, metal roof, canvas awning
Horizontal siding, vertical siding, blue siding, white siding
Wood columns, stone columns, the strong horizontal line under the 3 windows
And to top it off that weird little attic dormer on the right side

Kind of like the design team shuffled a few sets of exterior pictures, drew a few and built what came out.

    $640k for duplex?
    I’ll pass on that one.

If I’m spending $640k, it won’t be on a duplex.

That's $640K for one unit, not both... :D

Here's the kitchen again. This model has upgraded appliances, and not the cooktop with separate wall oven and microwave that I prefer, but I still like it!

A fireplace is extra-cost on all floorplans, and it's not even a traditional fireplace...

I liked the master bedroom in the Faraday better than the one in the Northbrook, and I will get to that later...

That looks like a P-I-T-A to live with, hardly enough space to turn around.

Imagine if you had a pizza delivered, you would be standing in the open doorway holding your pizza and have to back up to close the door. o_O

None of the three models in Liberty Ridge are available with the shower with separate soaking tub that has been common in houses for decades, but the sheer size of the Faraday's shower more than made up for that!
