What's with all the brass plumbing fittings?
    Not your truck.
Should oil the breather filter so it pulls in less dirt.

It is my 85. I bought it several years ago and you've even seen it in person. Your memory is getting old bad :luvya:

those are for LPG. It runs off an adapted forklift propane system, the round thing above the valve cover is the regulator :)

That was quick…Insurance has a check in the mail to me. I probably could get more out of them if I took it to a shop and had them fix it, but it would all go to the shop and I don’t care to fix it.

About $2900 estimate, minus the $500 deductible because the f***head at fault driver than fled the scene can’t be identified, I still net $2400.

I’ll remove the interior plastic, push out the dent, upgrade the backup camera from 1994-low-quality OEM to a nice HD one, then rattle can the back to prevent rust. I may buy a sheet of vinyl to wrap it “for fun” so the bad paint fix is less noticeable.

Now I’m into this car for about $8k. The commuter keeps getting cheaper.

Not even. Just the photos in the mall parking lot and a fluffy write-up. I don't see a thing changed with the truck itself. They didn't even fix the A/C issue mentioned in the original listing.

Took the day off for a proper ride up the canyon to check all the things.

Seat is fine, could be an inch further back, gonna adjust the pegs and stirrups to see if i can make it better.
Glasses totally suck, had a headwind all the way up that got past them and eyes were blurry, thought I might die, trip down was much better. Gonna check into that, might go goggles as a few bugs got past them too. They are big this year.
Gas gauge works but is essentially useless, says I was at half tank at the top, was riding on empty when I made it back to FoCo and took a whole 2.1 gallons to fill a 5 gallon tank.
Trip mileage was 120.8 so that's better than i thought it was gonna get.
Ordered a second set of grips with more padding as the other ones are fine around town but there is room for improvement.
    Overall a pretty good afternoon.

Several companies are putting foam inserts/gluing foam to the frames around the eyes for this specific reason. You don't have to go full goggle to get the benefits.

I have these now, I added the foam across the bridge and it helped a lot, but maybe a bigger lens would help as these are kind of narrow.

Stayed in Denver one night and will be in CO Springs 4, so far been great. Only had someone try to open my cooler in Denver but its padlocked so they didn't get any free beer that night.
