C4 hybrid bumper with warn evo winch

I ordered this bumper and it's getting painted right now, I purchased a warn vr evo 10 winch since C4 recommended it. Any fitment issues with these 2? I just realized that c4 makes a winch relocation bracket for the evo winches and wanted to make sure I don't need that.

 

Anyone?

 

You could always order the bracket and if you don't need it, return it. Just don't open it.

 

I have a C4 Overland bumper with warn Evo 10. I relocated the control with a bracket as well as bent the center brace. In their video for the installation of the hybrid bumper they have to modify the center bracket. Here is a pic of where I relocated mine to.you can see it on the passenger side.

Thanks! Exactly what I needed. I think I'll just hack away as much as I can. I'll make that thing fit regardless. I'm in a bit of a time crunch for an up coming trip haha

 

Yeah you will need a decent amount cut. My buddy with an SSO bumper left his control on his warn and had to cut pretty deep. Here is a thread on relocation ideas as well if you decide you want to get creative.

Thanks for the link, I have fiberglass fenders on so everything is already jank as fuck. If I cut out the hole support I'll just throw some zip ties for stuff that's hanging around. Zip ties can fix anything haha

 

I would move the control module, especially if you're on glass.

I run the same bumper with an Evo 12S. The winches have the same external dimensions, just the gearing inside the casing is different between the 8, 10, and 12.

I previously had a Zeon 8S in the bumper, and it is even larger than the Evo.

If you relocate the module then you don't need to cut anything.

This is my old module from the Zeon (the Evo is basically the same) and the solenoid that controls power to the winch. The bracket is made of simple aluminum channel.

Update, I took the lower grill support out. Next I'm gonna cut that piece where the red line is.

I'll add pics when I get the winch in later today

 

Got it to fit, I chopped off the whole thing, even with the winch all the way forward in the slots
