Something else not mentioned but notable is the sport has the hood scoop. If you are shorter and daily drive it, you will lose some visibility on the front end. But...the skewp is a certified panty dropper.

Well, this truck buying has been interesting . I ended up spending way more than I planned on, but I’ll have it for 10 years or more, sooooo I ordered a sport with extra packages, etc (heated leather seats was #1 on my wishlist and I finally just went for it). Got the sport premium package etc…oh, magnetic gray

Hopefully the salesman didn’t tell you that you can order a truck and instead gave you a VIN number of an allocation they have coming in. It may have other options added to it if you haven’t seen all the details yet.

Nope, it’s built and he got the destination switched to his dealership (we bought our Tundra from him 11 years ago and have several friends who have bought from him, so I’m pretty confident) I’ll miss some things my Tu dra has = power, space, looks, but, this Taco is more my speed right now

Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
I personally needed a truck for long distance trips , about 1600 miles , at least 2 times a year, with a comfort of an SUV but a bed for our junks such a lawn mover, generator and so on. Not a fan of off-roading, but camping is a " to do list" . I am very happy with my SR5 , V6. I can't say she drives better than a Lexus , but I've seen her pull her neck to 18 wheelers, on 95 , telling them "get out of my way, I am not afraid of you!!!. So far so good, I am more than pleased with her. In generals, you don't have to make a life term commitment on a vehicle, you can always sell it , and get one to your need.

The sport is the stiffest set-up. It will rattle your dentures loose.
    :D

Trucks are not sporty... sorry.

The ride of the sport gets old fast... I'd bet it is Sport owners who complain about the taco's furniture's creaks & rattles.

'Sport' it is simply a sales tactic - comes from the folks that brought you "light beer" or "Low fat" milkshakes or potato chips, or - whatever... in short, it is pure packaged disappointment.

    :notsure:

This is why they had to throw the sport the the skewp... - which was designed for the pro - otherwise who'd buy it?

    :crapstorm:

Ps. I made-up the last bit about the skewp. But it must be true...

I prefer to call the ride "engaging" ;), you know you are doing something driving the Sport. :bikewhoops:

Back in the day I modified cars with stiffer sway bar bushings, heavier shocks, ect. to make them ride this way.
I got the ride I like without getting dirty.

Disclaimer: Almost 100% of my driving is on pavement.

    I guess you're a hater. :p

I'm old, like on the downslope to 70, and yet shy of the minivans we had when the kids were little, my Sport has the softest suspension of any vehicle I've had since, geez, my 1966 Plymouth Valiant; honestly, I kind of wish the ride was a bit firmer.

I never thought the sr5 suspension is soft...my gen1 tundra was soft with body roll. This sr5 I have now has almost zero body roll, and handles pretty flat through curves.
