My source is his education. If you have a STEM degree, especially at the level of math and science that he claims to be knee deep in, you know damn well he isn’t engineering anything. He’s born rich, hit on the internet boom like a load of rich folks, and then hostile took over Tesla. Space X was an incredible investment that is largely beneficial off of government subsidizes (like Tesla).

Naming some folks at the top of their field that enjoy insane benefits, salaries, and opportunities that kiss the ring doesn’t impress me. Nobody in their right mind would want to be blacklisted from working on some of those projects.

I mean good for him and making some incredible investments, but don’t blow rainbows up my rear end telling me a rich dude that got accepted into an engineering school and dropped out before ever really starting is an engineer. I’d be absolutely thrilled if he knew what KVL was.
Doesn’t seem like a hard concept but ya know. Argument holds up like early Model S fit and finish.
Bingo part deux. Elon doesn’t have his folks in Twitter and doesn’t understand social media landscape other than being a troll. Truly a horrid investment that he’s losing his ass on because he didn’t change his antics.

Not that I care for the guy, but he has a STEM degree in physics. He didn't drop out until pursuing his Ph.D. I know plenty of great engineers with a bachelor's in physics and nothing else. Each ranging from metrology, mechanical, electrical/electronics, and even software engineers.

He also didn't just invest in companies. He was a founder for multiple businesses, many of which are well-known. Zip2, x.com (which later merged with Confinity & turned into PayPal), SpaceX, OpenAI (the creators of ChatGPT), Neuralink, and The Boring Company were all founded or co-founded by him.

Again, I don't care for the guy, but at least don't blow rainbows up everyone else's ass because you have some personal vendetta against him.

It didn’t become PayPal, it was PayPal before the merger. He was ousted after the merger because he was bad for business.

He co-founded Neuralink on a massive investment, and has taken credit for research he hasn’t done. It’s also being investigated for animal cruelty.

Elon was on the board for OpenAI along with a litany of other major players and investors. It’s since coke out that he played up his involvement since leaving and he claims that OpenAI wouldn’t be there without him, despite people like Peter Thiel being involved (PayPal).

We looked at Teslas for our commutes to work but ended up not because we don’t have enough local charging stations. We owned Starlink hardware until fiber arrived and I recommend it to anyone that doesn’t have a better solution. The products that arrive from his companies are generally good, but I’m not going to sit here and believe the man that was tricked into buying Twitter, subsequently destroyed its revenue stream, and now isn’t paying its bills, is some master stroke genius because he trolls as an Uber rich dude. His credentials have been called into question MANY times, his physics degree has too many twists on how he got it for me to keep up, and he fails up because he employees highly intelligent people that I wish he would let work without all the interference.

There are going to be so many air dams either sitting on Craigslist forever, or piling up at the dump.

I'm planning on leaving the dam on the truck. I'll let the universe decide if it wants it off or not.

I can’t unseen that now, thanks! Lol! Do like the Bronco Sport though, trying to talk my wife into one getting over a RAV4. Though she said, rather have the real Bronco.

The cult of Musk is strong with some in here, taint it? lol! Almost as bad as the Tacoma cult, can’t take a little criticism…

…never could understand celeb worship. Ever see the Bill Burr bit on Steve Jobs? lol!

I’ve been to a lot of comedy shows, and Bill Burr is a national treasure. Absolutely killed it, and he was practicing material.

I know a few folks that have the sports and they like them well enough. If it were me, I’d snag the RAV4 just for resale value in the event y’all don’t love it. Or a CrossTrek.

I would buy a 2x8 piece of treated lumber, paint it black, and toss it under there.

He isn’t quite as savvy as Carlin, but is entertaining enough.

She is a numbers person, the Rav looks better on paper to her, we both think it is ugly. Apparently there is more to it than looks, can’t believe Toyota sells so many. Then again I tend not to like anything popular (other than my Tacomas) She hates Subarus though, it is the stigma. I don’t mind them, but know the engines like to fail earlier than Toyotas. At least that is what I am told.

They consume oil and their CVTs are a bear to work on (acc to techs, they just swap them out and send the old off). Their service intervals are to be followed religiously, and apparently are decent then. My WRX knocked off the lot, but that’s a hallmark of their high output engines lol
