    :hattip:Good morning

I’m visiting my parents in upstate New York this week. My brother is here as well and it’s nice to spend time with the family.

@jwctaco Happy birthday Jim! I hope you had a wonderful day!

    Good Morning :hattip:

Rain missed us yesterday. It's been a dry summer so far.
    Today cooler and less humid.
Drywall guy didn't get here yesterday. He'll be here today. I should be painting by Friday.

Have a great day and be safe.

Kid has had allergies most of his life. Finally got tested yesterday.
Turns out he is only allergic to one thing...

I did allergy tests as prep for my shots. Thought I was allergic to a lot more things than I actually was. But knowing exactly what to avoid helps a ton. Just simple changes in my daily routine took care of most things

the pine tree and sagebrush allergies are another matter.

About 20 years ago, I developed allergies, after having lived in the same house for close to 10 years. I did the "pin cushion test", found I was allergic to tree pollen and grass. Allergies only hit for a couple months in the April/May time frame, and I would also get occasional allergy induced asthma. I took the weekly shots for a few years. When I moved from northern CA to Long Island, I stopped the shots, and never had a single problem. When I ended up moving back the same town in northern CA a few years later, never had another problem with any allergies. And so far here in KY... no allergies. Weird stuff, them allergies.

Except pizza. I have this weird thing where I tend to swell up after I eat pizza. Allergies... yeah, that's the ticket! :bananadance: no pizza emoji.... WTF????:bananadead:

I’ve had allergies since I was a kid
When I moved to Alaska the only thing up there that bothered me was fireweed. Which is freakin everywhere.
And when I moved back to MT the first summer I had no allergies. It was weird but awesome. First time in my life I didn’t have to tote a box of Kleenex and bottle of benedryl with me everywhere.
But the next summer my allergies came back with a vengeance and that was when I did the tests
So yeah… just wait. Your body will figure out there are new things to be allergic to.
And we may not have pizza but we do have :sandwich:

I used to have what they called back then “hay fever “, out grew it when I was around 12. Seems like it’s coming back the last few years, have these sneezing episodes, weird.
