Hot Wheels

I always thought the silhouette of these look like a Mustang GT.

 

Weekend finds...finally found a F&F set in the wild to include the Nissan cars and F&F Ford.

 

I found the F&F set at Walmart marked down because someone needed the Supra. I end up finding another at a Meijer. I end up getting it. Funny enough, I have the original HW F&F Supra single release from whenever. I was not going to open it to put into butchered pack though.

 

Damn nice score. Im looking for these sets

 

Bought the fast and furious set last week in hopes that I could put the Supra on a self and give the 3 year old the rest. Of course he wanted the Supra and started crying. So now the Supra has been thrown across the house multiple times and is all scratched up

 

He was just getting the car ready for the stunt scenes where cars are damaged...lol

That van is pretty cool don’t know if I would open it just because of the keep on trucking logo on the card. Don’t know if you had either of the bugs but they were doubles. Enjoy

 

Couldn't pass this pretty white thing up..."EDITED-price" sticker is already off thanks to blow dryer.

 

Wait.. tell me more about getting this sticker off...you just heated it up and it came off without any issues? I have a ton of M2s that need advertising removed but I've been to afraid of using chemicals to remove them

 

- Low heat house blow dryer on cardboard *not industrial strength heat gun.

- Isopropyl Alcohol on plastic and sometimes cardboard *use q-tip and don't rub to hard

*be careful not to damage bubble with heat or chemical.

Practice on damaged diecast first…

 

Ohhh I misunderstood you.. I see now you were talking about the price sticker... I just lay my cards out in the sun for a few minutes and they peel right off. Initially I thought you were talking about the door logo on that truck.

 

Not sure about the truck decal...that would require me to open it...which is against the rules. I may need to open a different car/truck of less value/interest to see what works best...besides sandpaper.

 

You have different rules than I do.. because I open a lot of mine!

 

I used to buy 2...open one and store one...now I just buy many...and open here and there.

I guess a dry erase marker and sometimes adding some acetone removes decals...few different technique videos to watch.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing...weird that it didn't work on the Matchbox car though... hopefully it will work on the M2s.. gonna have to try it and find out !
