How many feet in wiring did you have to add?

There are still some dealers that sell at no markup. If you are anywhere near Colorado, I'd recommend Mountain States Toyota. No handling fee, no add ons. I just had to wait for an allocated truck to come in.
I did visit their parts department and spent a good pile of money for the things I wanted and I'm sure they made some good money there. They also made another fan, of which there are many in this area.

I might pay for extras, and I'd even pay a bit more for convenience. But there is difference between paying for value and getting screwed.

damn, my mom had a beetle about 15 years ago and it came with a cheapo guitar so you could plug it in. Only tried it once.

Those sites claim theirs is different, better, whatever... but I'm not buying it. Certainly costs a heck of a lot more.

Whatever's on our windshield is still there. Was looking at it driving to the dentist this morning. It's just annoying whatever it is.

The worst part is they tell you to pound sand if you don't want to pay for it... because someone else will pay for it.

Mountain States was great to work with. I ended up going to Stevenson Toyota East because they had the 6’ bed that I wanted. What a great experience, minus the 8 week wait for it to be built/delivered. I signed the vehicle spec sheet w/ what I was to pay when it arrived. When it arrived I paid $500 less than msrp and it came with color matched bumper instead of the chrome bumper I thought I was getting. 10/10. Will go back there for my 2026 4th gen for sure!

First, nevermind how dirty my interior is. I know it needs cleaning.... Anyway, I have a coworker who does 3D scanning/printing, and I had asked him if he thought he could make me a custom trim piece for the cup holder in my center console if I gave him the OE part. It's a bit crude to see up close, but he was able to create this for me, and it fits dang near perfectly. I could probably sand on it a bit to smooth it out, but I don't mond it too much. I've asked him to make another one that I'll try to refine a bit more, but otherwise, I'm pretty impressed with this.

Its not just Toyota. I bought my wife a new SUV last year and every manufacturer was pulling this crap. Usually to the tune of 6-8 thousand extra for crap that is useless. Door edge guards and door cup protectors for $800.... Same thing at Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda. I couldn't get a place to give me even MSRP (at least not in NJ). I finally settled in a Mitsubishi Outlander at MSRP and thought I got a deal..... Every dealership had multiple "dealer installed packages" and were robbing people for them.... It's not just Toyota... It's the new posture for all dealerships
