I haven’t checked prices on them. Are they being similarly price gouged like the Lightning is?

Prius looks good until you sit behind the wheel and realize you can’t see the dash.

 

EVERYthing is being gouged.

Not advocating for a Prius. It is only slightly worse than the Lightning on the trail. Don't really care any which way except don't get in the way of me getting a Trailhunter. You all can continue the shitshow for all I care. Just throwing some new fax into the mix.

 

That thing should never have used the Mustang name, it has nothing in common with one.

Yes, many dealers with them instock are still charging mark up or refusing to come off MSRP. They haven't gotten the memo yet that Tesla is cutting their prices.

 

Maybe they got the Porsche memo after they raised their prices.

 

Was just pointing out it’s not exactly a Corvette anymore either. The future is now, old man! (I too, am old ish)

 

The guy who was considered the father of the corvette wanted to make it rear engine a long time ago.

 

I don't have a problem with the product, should have simply been called Mach-E. Also don't care for them calling the little Pickup a Maverick, when Ranchero or Durango would have made more sense.

 

I saw a C8 at a carwash today, I thought it was a Ferrari at 1st but I saw a Ferrari Mondial on the road right before that, no idea what year or designation the Mondial was. C8 looks good, I don't care for the interior configuration, but it might not be that bad behind the wheel.

 

Can nearly assure you that you wouldn’t give a single hoot about it once you put the pedal down and heard that thing sing.

 

Sure why not. People already seem to like to call their Lexus’s Land Cruisers.

 

Ford did it for marketing. Ford rebranded the Taurus in the mid 2000's to the 500, people looked at it like what the $#!* is a 500? It was the same car, sales sucked, years later they rebranded it back to the Taurus but the damage was already done. That coupled with the flock towards SUV/CUV's killed sedans off. I still love a sexy sedan, before my Tacoma I had a S60 T6 R-Design, super fast, quiet, efficient. I'd love to get my hands on the plug-in version with 455HP and 40 miles of range on electric only.
