Well it's intermediate term until I get a real collection system. I mean that's what I will say :)

I was a bit dismissive when tape came up......so there

Getting dust collection fittings to fit all your machines can be quite the challenge at times!

I've got the porter cable, works good so I'm not changing. I only use it as an aid to align boards for big glue ups or for face frames to cabinet boxes.

    Which PC?

The 2nd gen one was a copy of the Dewalt, which worked great. This came several years before Dewalt (Stanley Tool) bought PC - so Stanley Tool sued PC for copyright infringement (or something like that).

PC had the best tools, back in the day. It is really sad what they did to that company today. :(

there’s no doubt about that, I used to use them professionally, I still have 3 of the 505 half sheet sanders, 4 of the 690 routers, 2 of the 126 doors planers and two PC belt sanders all awesome tools that I’d have a tough time letting go of

I have 2 690s, a selection of air nailers, and 2 of the first model 12v drills (dead batteries, though.)

I have a 333 sander that needs to be repaired.

I have that same D handle.

I must admit, I saw Norm use it - and had to have one! LOL

I'm not really sure, but it's gotta be10 years old or more if that helps. It seems to be high quality. Back when I purchased it it was rated no1 and had the best fence. It came with 2 different sized cutters and a case.

That sounds like the 2nd gen.

The originals needed a wrench to adjust the depth - the newer ones adjusted very similar to the Dewalt units.

Nope no wrench needed on this one, it has a fine feed knob to adjust the fence.

This is installed and operational. Ima need to mess with it a bit, mainly getting a higher up chokehold on the router body is a bit of a hassle. All the rest seems good to go.
