There are some other companies with some thicker foam around the lenses. Though this design is more durable than the typical foam, the other stuff is thicker and does a better job. Panoptix/wiley x and 7eye are brands I've used before. Panoptix is gone now, but this style worked well for me.

I ordered a pair of Wynd blocker glasses which had pretty high ratings and another pair with interchangeable lens's just to make the $25 minimum to get them today.
Years ago there was a welding supply shop here in town that had some really cool safety glasses in a brown tint, amber and clear that were dirt cheap and did a great job of blocking the wind with no foams at all. They just fit my face really well.
I went thru several sets of those over the years. Of course the shop is still there but they no longer carry that brand and no one has been there long enough to know what they were.

They showed up a bit ago, and I'm pretty sure I'll be sending the highly rated Wynd blockers back. Those are normally a bit over $30 a set, prime at $23.95. Maybe I got a distorted pair but there is no way these are blocking anything. Plus they just don't fit my face. Aside from that the tint is nice, not too dark. Soft carry bag and that's it.
The cheap set from EXP Vision are actually really nice. 4 sets of lenses, nice padded case, soft carry bag, a lens cleaner cloth and a strappy thing to hold them on if you choose. Half off at $15.99.

The EXP's have a nice bit of extra frame that I was hoping for, each set of lenses has their own foam padding as well.

and of course the sun is going down. I'll try them tomorrow as it appears I may have the week off.

Speaking of the homeless, the parks dept came at me last Friday and pretty much said that I need to do more to keep the vandalism down. I understand their frustration, and mentioned they could start manually locking the deadbolts and see how that goes. That suggestion was met with grumbling about cost, which blew my mind as they have so far this season spent close to 30K with just me on repairs, that doesn't count the damage to the fixtures.
So I bought it up to operations, they didn't bat an eye, got on the phone and told parks to start locking the doors to see what happens.
There was no vandalism over the weekend. I have had only one call and it was unrelated.
Of course I may have shot myself in the foot from a business standpoint...
