    Thank you thank you :)
I try to remember as much as I can. My girls dad is a "mechanic " . I watched him work on his drift cars. He use to have me sand them down, the engine Bay and all that. Help him with things. Would have assumed he would have put more effort into the truck but oh well.
I haven't found anyone to help. So idk what I'm going to do.

Aren’t there any forum members from San Diego that can help out? If she was in Portland she would be back on the road by now! Come on guys, shake the bushes and see if a mechanic falls out!

You won't lose a finger you would have to have a leak and stick your hand back in there with the truck running. I was just making the point that it's under high pressure when it's running so you want to be careful when you put it all back together.

Ok good cause I was kinda freaking out.
Question, hopefully not stupid. But since extremely difficult to take these flare nuts off. How will I know that they are on tight enough?? Assuming I can do this on my own.

sorry, I thought I noted this as a side story, when @jdmfreak1992 was referring to much higher pressure diesel engines.
The point wasn't physical injury due to pressures, but to warn of something as volatile as gasoline being pressurized to hundreds of PSI, in a fire hazard light.

Because they are flared they don't have to be crazy tight. Once you get both sides started turn them both by hand until you can't then use a wrench and keep turning them until they stop give them a good snug and you should be all set.

I think that's the problem, he is the one that fixed it and left it this way.
I could have read it wrong though

I truly hope OP gets this going soon and not trying to be negative here; but as finicky as these electrical systems are; I hope is wiring fix is a hellva lot better than the rest of the work.

No, I hate him. He doesn't make it a point to be their lives. So I just don't want to see him. When he did help, he just lost things. He was the one having me take that flare nut off with that adjustable wrench. For being a mechanic/running a shop. He's not that reliable. That's why I said fuck it tried doing it myself.

I probably soud bitter but If you only knew.

Where the F is South Cali?
Does someone have some tools and a few hours to spare?
I’m calling you out, don’t be as bad as the rest of the country thinks you are!
The Southern California sub forum seems active, not sure I believe all them are far away from OP and incapable of helping.
