Yeah, did you look at the rest of the pictures? The sound deadening wasn’t rolled on with a roller. I used the same sound deadener sold on Amazon and the little triangles flatten out when it’s rolled for adhesion. That’s how you know it’s going to stick / adhere. And why in the Hell do you sound deaden the inside of the tailgate and use a bed cover? But I’m confused over half the stuff he did! Plus I’m not an expert but do the rear shocks have enough up travel for the ride height? The picture in his link!

I’m curious how he got “the best King suspension” for $500.

You and I both man. I haven't owned a single car, excluding my first car, that I have not modified.

It's a serious addiction. But I love it.

This is actually the entire reason I got my Canopy Camper. The tailgate was simply wayyyyyyyy too loud.

Removing it, and adding the camper instead, was the only logical decision I could have made.

How is the noise level on those AT’s? I’m considering the 255/85R17’s for my next set. The Kenda’s have had good performance but have gotten pretty loud as I’ve put miles on them.

I *believe* the $500 was for labor? He has what looks like part numbers below the $500 and if my memory serves me right it was like $3k.

Time to kind of change the subject other than the seller selling a 17…

Sadly per reports the 16 & 17 model years were the worst ever Tacoma’s with trans ghost shifting, oil leaks from the timing cover and other issues. @Man of Steel TRD / Jeremy took his 17 in numerous times because they couldn’t repair an oil leak.
I watch a YouTube channel where the gentleman only works on Toyota’s and he said the engine must come out to correctly make the repair. He said if you move / slip the cover it will leak again it must go straight on the block and heads. In other words in must not move up or down but go straight back into place. I guarantee the local dealer would never pull the engine just to replace the gasket and sealer! I believe Jeremy treaded his 07 *edit 17* Tacoma in for a V6 turbo diesel Ram that he enjoys. It is a beautiful truck I just don’t care for Dodge vehicles from past experiences.
But guys if you want or need a stereo or alarm system installed hit up Jeremy. I really think he truly has a real case of OCD, lol… He really and truly takes pride in his work. He solders, heat shrinks, and Tesla tapes his wiring and his prices are more than fair actually down right cheap considering the quality. I purchased a cheap HU and it came with a cover / surround that didn’t fit all that great. Jeremy worked and worked to make the cover fit better but he wasn’t happy. I then went to Amazon and purchased another cover with the best reviews. Then went back to Jeremy he pull out the HU installed the new cover. It fit great I asked him what I owed him he refused to take anything. The first cover being junk was not his fault and he went above and beyond. I can’t say enough about his work and attitude towards doing a job that he’s proud of‼️

Brian, might be time to look into some glass or a flat bed lol. Be cheaper in the long run. Not many people use their truck like you do. You know this won't be your last set of fenders... If you can find some take offs great. But glass is easier, cheaper and can be repaired a lot easier than metal. Shit, talk to Bailey, he probably knows people being in the boat world.

Bailey is hellbent on building a flatbed for me. Ebay has options but only on the east coast and shipping comes out to what I am paying for the bedside.

My 17 timing cover has a leak. I found a bolt barely hand tight and the main source of leak was from where that bolt it. I’m not pulling the cover. I cleaned everything up tightes the bolt and sending it. I just know there will always be a seep there.
Also the dealer “replaced” my rear main 2x under warranty. I doubt it because both times watching the dash cam my truck was on the actual bay about 45min each then the tech took it on Joy rides for 3 days. so while I do my clutch I have myself a new OEM rear main seal to put in.
    That’s my 17 though. It’s a Mar 17 build
