People who don't thank you for holding doors for them.. especially old ladies. Come on, not all young guys are like me... thank me for being courteous.

People who don't pull over when I'm driving code 3. Do people ever check their DAMN mirrors anymore?

People who leave their turn signals on, like stated above. Especially those who drive vehicles with turn signals built into their side mirrors... Do you not see that flashing light 2 feet from you? Idiots.

People who can't park their damn vehicle in the center of a parking stall. Especially big trucks, like they own the shit. Okay, taking up two spots (end to end not side by side) in a crew cab long box is fine... but come on, don't take up 3 or 4.

People who have annoying ass cell phone ringers, and don't turn their phone on vibrate, while waiting for appointments in lobbys, hospitals etc. "Raaaaah raaaaah ra ra raaahh oohhh laaaa ooh lalaa gaaa gaaaa-" shut the fuck up!

Writing my pet peeves in threads like this, because it reminds me of how stupid and inconsiderate people are.

X2 the high beams! i learned to to flash mine at them when i get like 15 feet from them. lol and i X2 when people leave blinker on for 15+ miles. another is when people go 10+ "under" the speed limit. I can see maybe when wether is really bad and you see very well or when there it like snow covered roads. P.S. "MOST" people hear in knoxville can drive worth sh__ in snow and ice!

When you wait to hold the door open for a woman going into a bank or the post office and instead of thanking you and waiting for you to get in line they get in front of you. Dont you think the polite and thankful thing to do is for the woman to say "go ahead in front of me, you waited for me to walk up the steps to hold the door for me"

    neglect, mostly.
people who don't respect money. i was playing poker last weekend at my friends house. his buddy had already lost once and had bought back in and those chips were about out already. when my friend asked him why he was betting like an idiot he said "i don't care, it's daddy's money". . . that pissed me the hell off.

and ten cent millionaires. my freshman year of college i stayed in kind of a nice dorm and i was talking to a buddy who stayed in a regular one. i cant remember how the conversation came about but he said something like "yeah monies kinda tight for me so i just can't afford to stay at a nice place like you". all while he's driving around his brand new fj cruiser, wearing his $200 Justin Boots, with his black berry when i was in a POS jeep, wearing worn out sperrys, and phone that the barley works. . .

and those are my pet peeves.

I have a lot of pet peeves.

But one in particular related to trucks/cars is:

After washing and waxing the exterior, cleaning all the glass and detailing the interior... when I start the truck/car up to move it out of the driveway, the wipers come on (because I forgot to reset the stalk after 303'ing it) and leave lines on the windshield

Most of the things I've read on here fall into one of two behavior categories, and yes these both irritate the holy hell out of me:

1: Selfishness/self-centeredness. "I am gracing you with my presence and you should be grateful that I acknowledge your existence. Also, I just don't think I need to be courteous or respectful." I say: nice attitude you miserable excuse for a human being. We all need to get along in this world and usually it's their parents' fault for not teaching them to share or be nice to others. Don't worry, these people will eventually get what they deserve, when their turn is up, and they will honestly wonder what they did to deserve it. Which brings me to #2...

2: Ignorance/general lack of awareness: "I didn't know that I was supposed to leave adequate room between me and the car ahead and not tailgate, I didn't know that I should be courteous and use my turn signal, that driving too fast and weaving across lanes is dangerous," etc... add your own idiot, lame ass moron excuse. If you do these things and don't complain when you get a ticket, that's fine, you are a decent and honest person. But to act surprised when you cause an accident or get flipped off or end up in a dangerous situation... well it just reminds me of the saying, "I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter." Again, we all need to share this world. Act like it, and don't let your own lack of knowledge or awareness put others' lives in danger. You stupid ass. Unfortunately these types only learn at someone else's expense and it takes a major incident to bring the issue to light.

A side note, I am also bothered by the overwelming importance people place on image and appearance, that means looking cool and having the latest fad and trendy whatever above all else, no matter what. Sure a certain standard of decency should be maintained, but at what cost? Let's see... OK here's a great example: "I just put 24s on my H2 and I'm going to bitch about the price of gas." Well maybe if you drove something less massive and didn't spend so much money on bling, you'd be able to afford gas. So STFU.

    /rant

Edit: What a great place to vent! I feel better...

    Just thought of one.

My next door neighbor! he's a slob. Nicest guy ever, great dad to his kids, he's the pastor at his church...but he has no concept of curb appeal. I'm not asking you to have the most pristine yard w/ flowers etc. Just maintain what's there!

He mows (JUST MOWS) his grass but doesn't edge the driveway & beds, or trim the 6" of grass growing around his AC unit and leaves the grass clippings clumped all over the lawn, driveway, sidewalks, etc and doesn't bother using his leaf blower to blow them off. Anyone who has bermuda grass knows that if you don't edge weekly, its growing onto the sidewalk and street. He waits until he gets a letter from the HOA before he trims his bushes.

I have hooked up the bagger system on his lawn mower FOR HIM, then he took the bagger off and blow clumps of grass all over my lawn I just mowed because he waits till the grass is 6" tall before he decides to mow. Then he complains about how long it takes him to mow. IF YOU WOULD MOW IT WEEKLY IT WOULDN'T TAKE YOU SO DAMN LONG. I can mow 3 yards in the time it takes him to do his.

Also his backporch looks like a junkyard. Thank god the fence I just put up blocks the view a little bit.

I hate when people uninformed in politics make political statements.

example, watered down so it doesnt get marked as political discussion

Person 1: former president A is the cause of massive issue 1 and political party W is only out for the interests of group X.

Me: How so? You do realize president C has been in office for some time and massive issue 1 only began when he took office. you can easily find CBO figures which will back my claim. As far as group X having control of political party W. you should look at the voting records of people in your party before you make any sort of claim.

Person 1: Well i'm not a really political person, its just not right.

    Me: *facepalm*
