99 3.4 was driving and it broke down, towed it home. I cannot turn the crank with a breaker bar. The truck moves freely in neutral and also in gear, I’ve read the truck wouldn’t move if the motor was seized or frozen. Is it possible my starter motor froze up and won’t let the flywheel spin and that makes it so crank won’t turn by hand?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
just what kind of failure did you have?

Broke down can include so many possible failures.

I take it the rear axle is off the ground or the rear drive shaft is removed.

Pretty hard to move any vehicle in gear with the drive line installed and on the ground.

With the spark plugs installed and good compression depending on your size a 4' breaker bar might not turn the engine.

The truck just shut off, had a bad battery but I replaced that and it still just clicks when trying to start. So I trying turning the crank pulley bolt while in neutral and won’t budge

Never took off the drive shaft I’ll have to check to make sure it’s still there

Does it have oil in it?
Engines don't typically seize for no reason, you may also want to remove the belts and make sure a pulley isn't locked up.

It’s got oil, also I messed up it moves in neutral, not in gear. Had the t case in N. Oops. Also I just pulled the starter and bench teaser was good. Maybe there’s another wire for ignition on to starter I’ll have to dive in tomorrow

I would check your battery voltage .

Make sure the terminals are clean and tight.

Check for a good main ground connection.

Being a 99 have the battery cables every been changed??

Battery Cables do break down with time.

    Good luck!
