yup im fine helping friends or family since i have a large drive way and a good amount of knowledge of somethings

yuuup it sucks since i like the location and house buuut the county im in decided to do a massive property tax increase (so much they have a lawsuit against them) so my value on my home spiked which alright cool but its gonna raise my home loan 300-400 bucks a month... im single that would be harder to afford plus its a smaller house id be fine paying that amount if my house was larger or had some land...

or id have to sell the new truck and go get a cheaper car to have instead of a truck loan...

Typically it's not the carrier that is the issue when running an extension but the allowable tongue weight for the truck. What are you putting it into an aftermarket bumper? I am sure it's beefy enough. Biggest thing is trying to remove rattles from the system.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I got a couple of these. They are the best IMO for a hitch carrier.

I plan on picking this up to use for my carrier for the Tacoma to deal with the height issues.

I assume you should be able to use that for the MX hauler too.

Got 4 motos in a single car garage with my workbench etc... you can do it. (dont have a car in there tho)

FOR REALS. I spent the better part of yesterday organizing and putting stuff away in my garage.... it was a shit show after unloading from the most recent moto / camp trip.

Dang, I've got one moto in a single garage. 2 work benches, and a tool cart. Partial truck parts too. But I like a little bit of floor space. (its a little cleaner now. This was in the middle of painting)

What happens when you want to use the moto in the back?

I will say, my lil single car garage opens up ~ 2 ft in width from the opening which really helps as well as has a lil nook for a water heater that I have other shelving in. That stated, efficient storage has helped (hanging things from the ceiling, shelving, putting stuff above the garage door etc)

    Im slowly working on organizing.

Probably should just install some of the boxes of truck parts, to clear floor space haha. Im not going all out on storage, because Im planning on moving in ~5 years. One of my minimum reqs for the new house is a shop. Then I can have plenty of space.

Just get some of the black and yellow tote bins, a piece of plywood and some track wall brackets to make long shelves. We rent and I spent ~ 250 on some shelving that I can easily take with me but it makes life SOOO much more enjoyable in the garage.

5 bikes AND my wife's jeep renegade fit in our single car garage. Same thing though, it widens after the door opening and is pretty deep. Three bikes on the wall on the left with shelving above then, two at the front in front of our water heater, etc., work bench tool chest and more shelving on the right. I'm squeezing every bit of storage out of this garage that I can.

First pic is of it stock, then I tore it down and built it back up! Everything was gone thru.

You can see the 1190 peeking its head out of the container. Should never have let her go, even if she was cooking my BALLS TO HELL!!

It's a game of Tetris when space is tight... my old garage was a small two car but I was able to fit my truck, wife's car, two motorcycles, snow thrower, tool box, bench, cabinet etc. Keeping stuff against the walls and overhead makes all the difference.

My current garage is 2+ car so I'm able to spread out more, and can actually walk around the vehicles while they're in there it's amazing. Definitely my zen space. The property also came with a house which was a nice bonus lol

That's my motto! I clean and mop my garage floor more than than the hardwood floors in the interior of my house.

I like the look of the stock plastics more than the new scheme. :crapstorm:

Yeah my two car is tight. I leave the right side open for my wife to park in the winter or for major vehicle work. I can usually park in a way to walk around the rig to get work done.

    oof

property tax increase is never fun. sounds like the time is coming soon to relocate lol

Hm valid. Yeah it's going into a brute force fab HC rear bumper. Pretty robust so I think it should be fine.

truer words have never been spoken lol. Once things get a LITTLE out of place I have to go through and tidy up just a bit.

Hm that seems like a solid option. I got distracted last night and forgot to take measurements of my hitch and the surrounding bumper to see what would work :/ gonna have to do this tonight.

ambitious lol. I met a guy the other day who works out of his single car garage...currently has like 7 bikes in there to work on em.

We have a 2 car garage, but I also share it with 2 roommates (one of whom is a construction worker so lots of tools and gear), and we also have a home gym setup which takes up about half the space lol.

One day I'll have my own home and 2 car garage to fill with just bikes (sorry Taco you can sleep outside)

Sometimes I organize in the middle of a project. I know thats bad.

Gotta move out to the "country" and get a shop. I want a minimum of 1,000 sq ft. But who knows lol. Ill probably end up with a flat dirt patch
