I've had no luck finding a job where I could afford to retire anyway, hereditary family health isn't that great either so even if I did go for the long haul 65 year old retirement I'd maybe have 5 more years left...

Anyone recall a company called Quicklock, for lockers? Assuming cheap lunchbox lockers?

Was inquiring about a cheap Samurai, has front and rear lockers.

But when an owner can't even give me specific info, I throw red flags.

He said he installed them over 8 years ago.

    Old.

Quick lock was a Lockrite style lunch box locker sold by TG and 4WP in the early 2000s. I'm sure they work fine, if you needed springs or pins you'd probably have to replace the whole thing with a new lunch box locker given parts availability but I'm sure they work just the same as any other lunchbox locker

Fuck that for sure. Babysitting my employees for 6 months a year is taxing. I think about 1/4 of them are self sufficient the rest need constant attention. By mid January, April can't come fast enough.

Knew someone here would know :fistbump:

    Gotcha.

I assume the worst, if I have to so this or that and doing all that would be more than its worth.

    Thank you.

All the time I spent in the print aisle reading 4wd magazines and browsing pirate 4x4 in the early 2000s has finally paid off :p

Dude, when it's an adult...I'm like where the fuck are people going wrong.

Then I look at Theo, telling myself we're gonna do the best we can to ensure he's set up (and self sufficient) to go on once we're gone.

Think Zane and I were talking about this recently, how parents just pawn their children off to schools, daycares, etc to let everyone else raise their kids. Then wonder why they are the way they are.

For whatever it's worth the long out of production lunchbox locker in the front of my 85 was still going when I pulled the third out last year. It was installed in 03 if the Zuk engravings were accurate

I remember dumb cheat codes from the 90s from reading Electronic Gaming Monthly, looking at Crutchfield catalogs, and motorcycle magazines

2000s I remember being excited about the little CCS booklets/catalogs.

Friends and I during lunch would talk about what we'd get, etc. What new board, shoes, etc.

    Man, I miss that shit.

100% agree with this. I see it all the time. Parents will drop off the kids and than vanish. I had one person drop off and than go to south lake 30 minutes away to gamble at the casinos. Meanwhile the kid shits it pants and we can't do anything about it.

Worse than that are the Trustfunders or Sons of the owners that can't even seem to go to the bathroom by themselves unless they are told to. Once again RETIREMENT is WONDERFUL

Oh fuck, during 6th grade I used to get Cracked and MAD magazines at the local liquor store on my way home from school.
