1700 SQ/FT always seems to be full in my shop... but i also have people who come over and then ditch their cars in it... like my sister and my nephew who both have cars in my shop space so i cant work on my own toys.

Yours is very well done, I remember seeing the pics. Funny you say that, I'm always sweeping mine out like a crazy neat freak and it's just stained up concrete. I recently got a roll of that vinyl garage flooring stuff for the workshop side where I park my bike and happy with it so far.

Gotta leave room for the wife so she doesn't have to scrape the car off in winter. I see you have a TV back there, I was just thinking it would be nice to have a screen to pull up videos, service manuals and such

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Lol i've organized mid project before. All good until you realize you finish organizing, go back to the project, then realize you put away a part or tool you needed for the project you're working on. Don't ask me how I know...:anonymous:

I do miss living in a rural area. aside from the nearly nonexistent foot traffic, it's also more peaceful, more beautiful, and overall a better experience if you don't need nightlife or don't mind driving a bit further to stores. I plan to end up back there one day.

Yeah I took the TV idea from @Chux and @6 gearT444E . It's awesome for exactly that, streaming spotify from my phone, or just chill nights having cigars in the shop.

Yeah you can’t tell tell a difference when it’s moving or when you’re on it. Was just a GFX kit and fenders I had lying around from who know when.
Trying to go thru some extra parts, cause they have been in the shop too long.

since the new kitchen is getting a new fridge
the little old fridge that came with the little old kitchen has been given a new lease on life out in the garage

    0-4.jpg

this weekends garage task will be putting up a wall mounted surfboard rack

    0-3.jpg

having a two car garage is nice but also not enough... I want a garage mini ramp, but simply can not sacrifice any more space.

at the very least I will want two car attached to the house and a two car detached in the future, that would be nice.

And need some acres for a trail or two

I love my garage tv. It's a roku TV so I can natively stream spotify, youtube, hulu, whatever but I also have a computer connected to it so when I have a shop manual or pdf or forum or whatever I can pull it up, but also if I'm 3d modeling something I don't have to go back and forth between the inside computer and whatever I'm measuring, I can just do it straight in the garage. I have it on a swivel arm so I can pull it over to more in front of the bench for intense work or keep it angled off to the side for everyday shit.

I also have the TV/whatever is attached to it hooked into a receiver and speakers, so i'm not relying on the crap tiny tv speakers for music.

I used to have a couch in my garage when my wife had her old Chevy Spark and I loved it. I miss that couch. The car sucked though, aside from being puny and like 9 feet long and taking up zero space in the garage.

Nice! I got a mini fridge for the brewskis. Also sell me that YFZ please :D

Yes high ceilings for a lift would be nice. I see a lot of people with property putting up those big pole barns lately

Get to organizing then! I have a bad habit of saving stock parts I likely won't need

just a couple of things tbh
haha ive been in the process of a motor swap on my project car! plus working on the bike after its clutch decided to leave the chat. so ive got a d series sitting on one side two different d series transmissions in the garage, exhaust components from said d series, and other random odds and ends plus the bike sitting on in the left bay with its clutch on the floor.
