I sucked it up and pulled the trigger on the Fox Factory 2.5's w/DSC and Resi's all around for my 2019 Taco DBLCB Long Bed. I would love to hear from those who have experience with these... what should I expect?

    Other Upgrades:

    JBA UCA's
Full Icon Multi-Rate RXT Leaf Spring Kit
17" TRD Pro Wheels with Falken WildPeak 275/70/R17's
    DuroBumps all around

    Thank you!

I have been very happy with my Fox 2.5s so far, I went with Fox because for every 10 sets of Kings and Icons I have rebuilt for customers, I only have to rebuild 1 Set of Fox shocks. I will say the rear is pretty stiff without much weight compared to a 2.0 but you get used to it pretty quickly!

Right on! That is great to know. I don't carry much weight in the rear other than a tonneau cover, camping gear and fire wood, but I am hoping the DSC will help me dial that in correctly.

Absolutely! You've just gotta play around with it a little bit. I would recommend starting with +3 clicks on both low speed and high speed compression as a baseline and go from there. If you're like me and have problems with body roll that little low speed dial is going to be your new best friend!

Thank you for the advice and I will start there as a baseline. I am looking forward to being able to dial the feel I want in. How noticeable are the setting changes?

Your truck will drive 100% different than stock in a good way. I'm pretty much running the exact same setup minus wheel/ tire combo assuming you went factory race series. If did performance elite then will be different.

I definitely notice the "slow speed clicker adjustments more. I've got a little dip/g out in the road behind me. Factory I'd bottom out the rear at 30-32 mph, I hit it the other day at 45 barely and felt it. That's been a good G out spot to test the slow clickers. On softest I'll get a little rebound bounce at at 2-3 it just absorbs it without being harsh at all. I'm sure if I went stiffer would prob feel jarring

The high speed I still need to test some more off road. But on road I'm currently running 1 click up from softest and that will prob change as some more weight goes on and things have settled.

First trip I did was a semi fast test heading out to edge of the world was running between 35-45 on mostly washboard road with some pot holes. High speed set a 3 up from softest. It got a little jarring over the pot holes but was a massive improvement from factory. Unless I'm running super heavy I don't know if I'd find myself in a spot where I'd go much stiffer.

My only knock on the FRS is they would probably be ideal if custom valved for your intended use. In my case it kinda feels like I wish they were valved a hair softer so I'd have more usable range as I don't think I'll ever hit max stiffness so the upper end isn't really usable. But in the next year I've got a bunch of weight coming in terms of GFC sliders and additional skid so that may balance it out more.

If not when comes rebuild time I'll have them custom valved

I would say the difference is pretty significant between clicks however it is also very subjective. When making adjustments I always recommend doing about 2-3 clicks at a time to find a general area you like and then dial it in with 1 click adjustments from there. I also recommend writing down what settings you are running because it can be difficult to feel/count the clicks and it is easy to lose track!

Right on. That is super helpful and thank you for sharing. I am really hoping for a noticeable improvement on these washboard covered Arizona forest roads and doing Broken Arrow Trail...which I have done stock a few times lol! It seems like the 2 and 3 notches are kind of a sweet spot.

No- the rear is the only one I ever adjust based on how much weight I have back there but otherwise I typically keep the front much stiffer. The bed of these trucks is so light I tend to keep the rear on the much softer side

Right now yes. When I do my next high speed test which will be taking a buddy of mine out to sheep bridge I'm going to play with the settings on the way in then again on the way out to see differences. Running different rear settings will be one of the things I try especially since I'm running light in the rear right now

I went with fox elites and icon rxt's. Can't tell you what to expect, because they're still sitting in the box waiting to be installed along with the -38 offset Falcon wheels.
