Something is wrong with the converter when I go in reverse it wants to lock a little and truck doesn't like it. Then we were doing interstate full stop to like 90 pulls and the damn thing kept missing 3rd and staying in second. Its fucking scary when it does that in boost. Gonna mess with the throttle cable and see if it helps.

I decided to start getting new turbo on since truck is running really good. Have to redo my downpipe, extend manifold and cut some shit on core but seems to fit otherwise. The thing makes my downpipe look like a pea shooter.

 

Easy, you put off one project for smaller ones

But, smaller? ehh. That 1" offset aint gonna connect itself. That turbo isn't gonna bend around that manifold.

The welding part. @Kwikvette I had a tough time bro. Everytime I started welding it flashed and stayed on sun mode. Took me an hr to figure out mask sensitivity was on low. Even went and got a new bottle of argon. Wtf.

 

Got the new turbo on. She sounds kinda fierce. Some pics of the process.

Me too man but, I got the stainless restaurant one for free and I just don’t have 2 days to make one.

 

Oh no the stainless is perfect, I considered something like it but really would prefer a certiflat setup.

They can be had for cheap, just been prioritizing on other stuff.

 

I still have not used my cnc router. I have not made room for it yet (sad). Trying to finish other shit like you.

At the moment business has slowed down and the only real projects are -

Lengthen the cutting area of my cnc table

Fulfill a small order for small parts and a skid plate tomorrow

Otherwise just enjoying the AC since it's been hot AF here. How about over there?
