So possibly a dumb question, but why do you guys need a "full sized" spare? Is it just because aesthetically if you end up on a spare tire you want it to look good? Because I'm assuming you guys made sure the stock steely spare already had the correct tire size on it right? Or have you guys been carrying a too small spare? No judgment here if so just curious lol

Gotta say that looks more like alignment issues than shocks.

I'm still running the stock spare, which is smaller than my running stock. Like Dean said, get the stock wheel and same sized tire and do 5 wheel rotations...or just put a same sized tire on the spare steelie and plan on never needing it.

Ahh okay. For some reason I glazed right over the five-wheel rotation thing. It's not a bad idea but not something I'm interested in, I always just put a new spare tire in whatever size I'm running on the stock steely.

Tires will cup from bad alignment; look at the tire its chewing itself up in corners not going straight.

I am about to go 35, and have one. May have some trail scratches, but you can have the pick of the liter. I will give it to you with a worn out Km3.

Not a bad idea. The reason I don't do it is because I run summer and winter tires so I would need to buy two extra tires and two extra wheels as well as having to store an extra wheel and tire.

I run bigger tires. Need a bigger spare. Payed dividends in MOAB when I knocked a tire off the rim...

Speaking of bigger tires. I uh.... perhaps have changed my stance a little bit. I'm thinking after these wear out I may go 255/85/16 (because I will own this truck long enough for them to wear out!!!)

I would absolutely love to put mine away in the winter but that's not in the cards for the foreseeable future unfortunately

After doing more research on them and looking at some more pictures I think I will be okay as long as I close my eyes whenever I walk directly in front of my truck :D
That garage is already spoken for by a Subaru and a Tundra :p
