Theses are Brock brand. Quality headlights. After 18 months no moisture issues. Now only $126 for the pair. I put a new clear passenger Brock headlight in the 2012 2 years ago and it still looks new. I did put a bead of clear silicone, around the seams, in the tinted and clear Brocks just as a precaution before I installed them.
You couldn't give me DEPO brand. Had DEPO Pro headlights and taillights in my 3rd gen. Looked great for the 1st year. After that the tint inside the headlights started delaminating. Looked like crap and I paid over $400 for them. The DEPO taillights were not as bad but the build quality was poor. Again no moisture issues with those either.
This is the DEPO Pro version that delaminated and looked like junk on my 3rd gen. Looked great from 15 feet away:20210602_092907.jpg 20210602_092849.jpg20210526_115312.jpg

Removed the badges and decals. Way easier than I thought.

my LF had moisture too. Gonna run a bead of silicone around where the lens mates to the housing on the outside. Hopefully that fixes it. Might toss a silica gel pack if I can find a hiding spot inside.
Idk if the packs have a usable life where they fully saturate with no vent to let out

Got the doors done with deadening mat and foam. Only have the floor left to hit with these products, then will finish it off with MLV.

This color scheme is sick. Is it paint?

They definitely aren't OEM, but they aren't bad. I can't speak for their performance stock.

I've had my headlights full of moisture several times before, once they dried out I took them off my truck and checked the silica packs, they were all dry. I assume they dry out with the high temps of my retros, but I could be wrong.

Not at that price. To the guys that are running a bead of silicon around non oem headlights. Where exactly are you running the silicon? Is it just where the headlight lens meets the back cover? I have a set of non oem headlights I've been thinking of installing. I've been through two sets of oem and both have leaked. Not doing it again.

I just add a 2nd bead over the factory bead and smooth it into the parting line with my finger. I can say that the only leaking headlights, that I ever owned, were the factory headlights on my 2008.

Just like me! Never had a problem with my 2000. This 2008 has had two sets of oem headlights and both had the passenger side leak.

    Hi

I'm about to swap my tires , just saw a great deal on some tires and would love to get some insight from the experts and get to know some of your guys experience .

    Can I run 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires on my 2.7 2WD stock Tacoma ?

I don't think it needs a lift but any advice would be highly appreciated.

    5 lugs
    manual 5 speed.

Will it affect the ride , torque , or shifting .
