Put a Gladiator Rubicon or Mohave in that discussion too.
I just spent a week with a new Wrangler Sahara as a rental and liked it a lot. The Gladiator is now definitely a possibility for my next truck.

Not so fast... Gladiator won't fit in the garage.

I can't get over the Gladiator pricing. you want LED headlights? Okay you're going to have to get the Premium Lighting group for $1,795! Heated seats, $1,345! Adaptive cruise not standard, no biggie $1,195! I added 5 packages and I'm up to $62,000!

Everyone I know that has one loves everything but the price, but that’s just normal these days.

    …ill prepared Fugu?

There is one thing Toyota is very good at, making vehicles uglier and uglier.

And there is a reason why there are a ton of Gladiators for sale near me with some up to 10K off MSRP. A mildly equipped Sport S Gladiator is over $50k and a almost fully loaded 2024 Colorado ZR2 is around $52k.

    Gladiators are hawt…

Quite unfortunate that Toyota refuses to do the same. Think those stumpy beds are about worthless, but would make it work if Toyota did a Gladiator fighter. Of course they most certainly would screw up the styling.

Sooo…buy a Gladiator and off it before the warranty is up.

Anyone paying MSRP is silly, btw. You can factory order them for 8-10% off sticker, which is usually around 6% under invoice.

I’m sure the new Tacoma will be similarly priced. Probably even more with dealer markups.

I think Jeep has a 100K power train warranty which is nice. I was expecting the jeep to ride rough but it was actually pretty good. Much better than the XJs I had before the Tacoma.

Longer wheelbase helps with the ride. My 2dr ride nicer than my buddy’s TJ but it was still very Jeep-like. The 4dr (Unlimited) is a totally different animal.

They ride pretty good for what they are, can fit 35-37s with minimal effort. 33s are good enough me though, don’t really like my vehicles jacked up too high anymores.

Probably get an extended warranty on it, bought one for my Tacoma that goes to 120K for PT.

Odds the 4th gen gets longer seat cushion bottoms?

I know they'll be higher which should help with thigh support. I have longer legs though and am curious about this.

Only fair considering ass reaming from paying 2024 markups.

The singular thing that I dislike about the 4th gen Tacoma is Toyota trying way too hard to make it look like a Tundra.

The hybrid engine option seems nice but that’s about it.

And no way it’s worth the dinero they’ll be asking.

I already saw the pictures. Is that just a video of a guy looking at pictures? Are there any pictures of the shocks on the OR? I can imagine what some 6112 5160 Bilsteins would look like from the factory, similar to 2g Pro or Baja. I'd still like to see what that looks like.
