You make a very good point. I have -38mm offset wheels for my 5th gen and that’s 3” right there lol.
So then does that mean the body is the same? If so, I’m leaning more towards a TRD OF now vs a Pro or TH

No. In the manual, you are the crawl control. I won't lie though, it felt good to get out of tricky spots myself whilst my friends had to rely on their crawl control. I'm not against the technology, the 4Runner I drive now has it, but it did inflate my ego a tad when I had to do it myself.

I have an auto but haven't used crawl control to get out of stuff (mostly snow). TC off, LSD off, S1, red line it till you're free

Very interested in pricing. Also like the extra cab. Hope they get the 4cyl turbo thing figured out quick. Would love a 2025

Will the new 2024 tacoma, drive like Turd like the present 3rd generations do unless you get it tuned?

Dunno. But my personal experiences going from leaf sprung rear suspension to 4 link, like in the new Tacoma, it should be a better ride.

Doubt it. Go drive a Ranger, Colorado, Bronco, etc…instant throttle response. Those 4 cyl turbos will get up and boogie real quick. Unlike the Thurd Gen where it seems like it has to think about it when you mash on the pedal.

This. The best part about my Bronco compared to my ‘17 OR is definitely how much more fun/responsive Ford’s 2.4 turbo is to drive vs the 3.5… way more torque. Looks like Toyota is carrying over the manual transmission which kind of sucks bc Fords new 7 speed is waaaaaaay better to use than what the 3rd gen Taco has too. I guess can’t complain when we weren’t even sure if Taco would get a manual a couple months ago lol

They actually feel like truck engines. Wouldn’t never know it was a 4 cylinder. The 4G is going to be a vast improvement over past generations. Do like the Ford 7 Speed with the granny 1st, was hoping it would find its way into the Ranger.

It is an automatic only feature, actually a braking, throttle modulation.

A little mo' information would be useful. Maybe not as garrulous as Carmaker1, but more than one sentence.
