Driver seat squeak noise.

My 2022 tacoma trd off road driver seat squeaks.
I have the fabric seats and when I go over bumps or make left turns the bottom of the right side of the seat squeaks. I have 17k mile on the truck and the squeaking noise started before it had 10k mile. I have my seat adjusted to lowest and farest. Since I am 6ft tall and almost 240 pounds.
I mentioned it to the dealer when I took the truck for 10k maintenance but they said nothing is wrong with the seats.
Does anyone else experience this squeaking noise? It can be very annoying and makes me wonder why they have such a low quality seats.
Do I take it to the dealer again and insist on fixing it or do I leave it as is?

 

My seat squeaks as it rubs against the center console when I'm repositioning. I think it's the backrest and not the seat bottom though. It's definitely annoying but I don't know if there is much I can do about it.

 

my seat squeaks as well , i just turn up the ac or put the windows down

 

Mine had this issue. Had the dealer address it under warranty. The repair was a complete new seat frame assembly.

 

wtf really , i wouldn’t bother unless the electric motor broke

 

Yep, Toyota only sells the entire frame as one piece.

The front seat in my '21 is total garbage. Squeaks, snails pace electric motor, and totally uncomfortable on anything other than a short drive. Dealer wasn't any help with the squeak for me either. Besides the awful automatic transmission, its really the only other thing I really hate about my truck. We just installed Scheel-man driver seat in my 80 series and after a 2000 mile on and off-road trip last week, i can say it is amazing. Expensive, but no back pain or annoying squeaks....and i will be putting one in my Tacoma as well. i can't wait to ditch the factory junk seat.

 

I have a 2025 with 700 miles and the seat make so much noice. It drives me nuts.

 

I have the same issue with the passenger seat, I just slide it all the way back and it doesn’t rub on the console anymore.
