    Hi all,

    2011 Double Cab,Long Bed, 4.0 V6 4WD

New to this forum and I need new leaf packs. I’ve been looking around and had decided on the Dobinson L59-111R. However they are OOS and I don’t want to play the waiting game.

I have a topper on my truck and am usually hauling camping gear ~75-100lbs (coolers included). Also random things every once in a while.I do haul dirt/sand and other heavier loads 10-15 times a year.

This is my daily and I want a nice ride that can handle what I throw at it. I would ideally get a very HD suspension but I don’t want to sacrifice ride quality when not loaded.

Not interested in a large lift (2inch MAX). Would like to keep budget around $800 for pair.

Thanks in advance. If there are other forums already that have answers, shoot me the link. I’ve looked at many but couldn’t find my exact situation. Also throw all your knowledge my way because I like to learn.

    Thanks

You don't have to wait, you can run the L59-112-R springs and remove the 5th leaf, which makes them the same as the 111-R's. Then just keep that leaf around in case you ever get heavier down the road or want/need more lift.

Which leaf would the 5th leaf be if I went this route? 5th from bottom or top?

Cool thanks for your help. I do ride empty aquite a bit minus my topper. If I do go this route and leave all the leafs in, would it give me a terrible ride?

No. You need the 111's at least for 2" of lift and we don't get any ride quality complaints with them with a long bed, even empty
