A Ruger precision .17HMR is on my short list. I just got this CZ 457 in .22lr a few months ago I have have been testing ammo lately to see what it likes. I've been able to get a handful of sub 1" groups t 100yds and I'm sure with some work I will be able to make that the norm.

I like that. Does it come with the console velcro part or is it holster only? It doesn't show a good image of the back, on Amazon

The front part has the hook part on it. Then I just stuck a couple 2”x4” loop strips to my console and it has been there almost 10 years without any problems

I see the hook backing now. It's meant for their loop cases.
I'll add some loop strips to the cart.
    Thanks

On a happier note I made a hot wire foam cutter today and finally trimmed the foam in my pellican vault case I bought on prime day last summer.

I’m really happy with how it turned out!

When my dead air wolfman gets out of jail I’m going to trim the bottom left corner for that and a few mags.

    You got a Tiny-Boi.

I'm carrying a little more full sized / duty sized.

Holster is just there to protect it as I try jamming it into places in the truck. No ND!
I have a 9c that rides in that holster normally and I'm looking for a holster that will cover the last 1" of barrel that pokes out.

There's more where that came from. lol
WI is open carry and CC carry (with permit).
I always figure a criminal is going to take out the open carry guy before the CC. For obvious reasons.
I prefer the smaller .380 for CC.
    Something is better than nothing.
Besides. unloading 6+1 or 7+1 rds of .380 into someone will probably hurt a little.

    Absolutely!
My daughter has / had that same pistol. She found it snappy so it's for sale at Anthem Ammo right now.
Kimber Micro 380 - Two Tone Crimson Trace. Sweet Gun! If I had a spare $700 laying around I would have bought it off her but had to let this one go.

Normally I'm a CC guy myself for the same reason, but in the back country and occasionally in Frys, Walmart, or other places I'll open carry. Circumstance depending. Like when it's 118° around here the last thing you want is a friggin pistol pressed up against your love handles. I figure if I can get the full sized 9 with 5.0" barrel to fit then the 9c will drop into the same solution.

I'm not a very big dude, either. 145 soaking wet so even trying to conceal a 9mm. is pretty noticeable unless I do an IWB in the front though I prefer not to have a 9mm pointed at my junk!

I'm 6'1" and have weighed between 210lbs and 300lbs. Currently on the upper end and hoping for a quick weight loss after knee surgery - back down to around 235ish.
I have found that my fatness is much more of a limiting factor. When I was thin and working out my waist was much smaller and chest / shoulders / arms bulkier. It allowed the shirt to more naturally drape over the firearm. But when the waist line expanded, it pushed that pistol out to the edges of the garment. Makes concealment much more difficult and uncomfortable.

A little PSA here (and I'm about to be walking this walk) is that if you carry a gun, but you are a portly guy, your priorities may be out of whack. Statistically speaking being as heavy as I am will kill you quicker and sooner than anything you think you are going to stop with a handgun. The odds of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, etc are virtually 100%. The odds of a random violent crime where I live are around 0.5%. So if there are any guys shaped like me out there, it's time to get busy building your tactical body to match your tactical pistol.

    Well said.
I don't know what it's like to be big and I've made it a goal not to find out.
Had my run in 12 yrs ago when I was hospitalized for pancreatitis because I drank too much. Been sober since and making an effort to live as long as I can. Our existence is all we actually have, brother.
I don't work out and I'm not a huge health buff. It's simply awareness and moderation.
Nobody knows you better than you.
