    Well, in a perfect world I would still have the outback wilderness (which was better than a Tacoma in every single way as far as winter was concerned) for winter duty and long road trips and the Tacoma would be more for off-roading and adventures.

    Yeah if I were to lift it I feel like I would want to just get new shocks entirely because I wouldnt want to worsen ride quality at all. Plus I wouldnt want to go with something cheap that just isnt a good quality I would want to do it right. I have to go down a wash boarded dirt road every day and I end up driving 15-20 MPH because it is so rough. The township is to cheap to have someone grade the road and they have only graded it once this year. Few years ago they would do it at least once a month. I cannot wait till I live somewhere where I dont have to ride down a dirt road everyday. Wouldnt need to wash my truck once a week.

    Ground clearance goes by the lowest point so while the Tacoma probably has a slight edge in approach and departure the wilderness outback has (lol) 1 tenth of an inch more ground clearance :p

    It doesn't rust. And as @LarryDangerfield has noted the allwheel drive cars are cheaper and "better" in the snow-I have a CR-V for that slushy salt ridden muck!
