Just enough to look kinda cool.
So yesterday my boss (doesn’t have a CDL) got to drive one of our water trucks through a neighbourhood. He learned really quick the transmission isn’t like a cars, he kept fully clutching to shift. He finally got it into 4th and that was enough for him. Wish I was there to see it but I just got to listen to the other guys busting his balls this morning.

My boss finally gave up on me. Last time I asked him a question he told me do what you want, that's what you're going to do anyway.

At work, sitting in a dock waiting for orders that are not done. Typical.

Sounds about what I would expect .

I have had to deal with those things in the same state at least.

I was told on my first Voyage to the Midwest that Peru was real close to Chicago so to me that was 10 or 20 miles .

Then so often Portland seems to get mixed up quite often . Portland Pa is not close to either Maine or Oregon in location or spelling.

Glad I caught that one talked to the customer then called dispatch. "Your sure your sending me to Maine?"

It has been quite sometime far longer then I think.

Old Orchard Beach with the refreshing 60 degree water temperatures.

    Bath Iron Works

    Assorted Paper mills.

Dysarts with the big table and good food.

    Poland Spring

I can only guess how much things might have changed

The Paper Mills was quite many Mill Wright Jobs over the Years.

As of the late the company gets in and never leaves just keep bidding on jobs .

While the company maintenance does the routine and emergency jobs to stay up and running.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Got my usual truck back on Thurs. Was written up over a week earlier for an air line that split in the seat, wouldn't lift the seat. Instead of replacing a rather short plastic air line, or even just trimming the line back a little, it split right by a connector, they put a brand-fucking-new seat in! I ain't complaining!!! :bananadance:

The little Bandit is such a blast to ride. Unfortunately, it hasn't run in almost a year. Not sure what happened and have been too busy to tear into it. I don't think it's much, probably something simple...
