And I go around back to the warehouse. The guy comes out and before asking for my paper he says “that’s a great truck”. And he processed to tell me how he had a 3rd gen and traded it for something last year (can’t remember what). He was saying he regrets swapping every day.

I love mine and I get it.

It's a great truck, I got mine about a year ago and everytime I go to the dealer they ask me if I want to upgrade to something newer.

    Nope.

    I love my truck.

I hear that... A guy at lowes was fork lifting a pallet of flooring into my truck and joked "that's not a real truck" and was surprised the pallet fit but then complimented the rig and said besides his old jeep there's nothing that he'd rather take off-road than a Tacoma!

My mom liked my truck. My Dad called it an oversized Tonka toy.

    Carry on!

When my ‘17 was new I was driving through rural eastern Oregon and was stopped by a flagman for road construction. The guy was nice and we started a conversation about my truck and he was saying how much he liked it. Some of the guys were eating lunch nearby and came over for a look also. That’s when I noticed all of them were eating lunch and there wasn’t any construction going on. They really just wanted to see the truck!

I also have a friend who sold his 2nd Gen and bought a new F150. He needed the higher towing capacity but he said he still regrets it and misses the Tacoma.

I am quite sure this will be my last gas powered vehicle because I’ll have it for so long.

It'll be my last gas powered vehicle because I got one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel.

it's a fun medium sized truck, defiantly not for everyone, and those are usually the poo poo'ers, but we get it,,, it doesn't fit their needs and never will.

Love this truck. May shift a little rougher than I’d prefer, but it’s just ideal in every other way for my uses and preference. Plus it looks cool and doesn't have GM style square-ass wheel wells like the new gen 4 ones do lol

It just happened again at the lumberyard. Loading 4x8 sheets of Enermax. The guys loading the truck saw the 2x6’s in the slots to carry sheets on top of the wheel wells and were all “check that out! That’s really cool!” Lol.
