I just installed a 2” rough country leveling kit. Per kit measurement had my rear just over 2” higher. Now that the leveling kit is on, the front is 1-1/4” higher than the rear!?!? I haven’t had the alignment done yet scheduled for Monday morning. Will that possibly bring the front down or am I gonna have it raise the rear…definitely don’t want anything that even sort of resembles a Carolina squat lol

    Welcome!
I don’t think you’ll have any adjustments in a spacer lift,,, is what it is

Yeah I don’t either, but this is the first one I have installed myself. Usually have them put on and alignment done all at once. Looks like a block in the rear is my only choice

Careful not to stretch the rear brake lines and check driveshaft/pinion angles.

Can you not adjust the front struts up a notch? I just put some bilstein 5100's on and the rear didn't have any thing to make it level just the front. Shop that put mine on said out of all the levels and lifts he's done Rough country never include instructions, it's all a guessing game.

The Bilsteins are adjustable, but the OE spring perches are not, a spacer lift is simply that,,, adding a spacer on top of the OE non-adjustable spring combo.

Yeah….you have to lift the rear if you want it to be level.

I used to have the same rough country kit. I had to install a 1” block in the rear in order to make it level because my truck had the Carolina squat after I installed the rough country level kit. It looked terrible until I lifted the rear.

Did the block kit cause any issues with the drive shaft or anything else

I put a 1.5" block for the back (2.5"front) and have had no issues with anything. I did install the carrier bearing spacer. (swaybar spacer - front) but that was it.
My truck was only 1.5" higher in back. Did the 2.5/1.5 to leave a 1/2" rake

While running a 1" rear block I found the rear started to settle over time, and settled even worse with any meaningful weight in the back, so despite it being termed a level kit in practice it definitely wasn't going to stay that way long term. I just replaced the leaf packs with a 1.5" lift set, and now the ride is both better quality and the rear sits slightly higher than the front for normal driving (so under load it should be near level). Based on my experience, I would aim to have the rear sit higher than the front with the expectation the rear will sink down over time and with payload which will then level the truck out.
