Since Toyota sprayed my Frame a few years back, it looks like the Frame degraded faster since the work was done, is Toyota still responsible for the Frame Recall?

My Frame on my 1929 Model A looks in great shape compared to my Toyota Frame.

On a 2006? Probably not. Especially considering I see 4 year old GM trucks with more rust than my 2017 has.

I doubt it's still covered under any sort of warranty.

How much do you drive your Model A in the winter / wet weather / at all?

Everything rusts. An undercoating such as Fluid Film or similar is the best way to prevent that. Or call your state DOT and tell them to stop rusting out your vehicles and public infrastructure with road treatments

Nope. Same thing happened on my old 2009. Very shortly after they coated it the stuff started flaking off and bubbling everywhere with a bunch of rust built up under it. Toyota dealer basically said too bad.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
It was never a recall if it was they would need to replace your frame.

It was an extended warranty in winter weather states.

Your truck was covered until the last day of 2018. The official time period was/is 12 months from the in-service date. The years 2005 & 2006 were covered until the last day of 2018.
You are now on your own with your frame. Sorry.

I pressure washed the frame, took a better look at it, was not as bad as I thought, just one spot up by the front tire where the frame is boxed. I guess good thing years ago I thought that CRC treatment was garbage, when I brought the Truck home the CRC was still dripping on my driveway. so I did my own painting with Bill Hirsch rust paint, after most of the CRC wore off. I just coated the whole frame once again with Bill Hirsch rust paint, and it looks much better.

My 08 got the CRC, worked ok where it wasn’t over existing rust.
I think it just made it worse nasty shit!

I passed on the coating offered by Toyota. I felt that with 3 years left on my frame warranty and the condition (regularly FF) I was ok and thought the CRC would actually be harmful ,trapping and accelerating any surface rust. My own thoughts were that it was a coating to hide the rust to get you out of the warranty period before you notice it failed.
