Couldn’t agree more! I have exactly this on my truck and I recommend it to everyone (tint whole truck and do the 70% clear on the whole windshield). My Tacoma is a solid 10 degrees cooler than the outside temp and I can always touch anything inside without it being too hot. Ceramic tint was one of the best first things I did.

If I lived in the desert I’d do the whole windshield in clear or 70%Ceramic as mentioned above. I believe you could then still do a 6in darker strip over top of it…if that’s your style.

Get note from your doctor saying you have a lighting sensitivity. 35% ceramic on mine.

5% All around with 6" strip....

You cant see inside if you stand 1ft from side windows!!!

    Tennessee doesnt enforce tint law!

I just stay out of the State of Virginia..Their State Troopers will hand you a razor blade a make you remove it....before letting you go! I know several that has happened to.

A photo is not going to represent what the eyes are capable of seeing, and not everyone has the same night vision. From my experience, 35% is as dark as you want to go particularly if you are in the country with less ambient / street lighting.

40% while windshield can still see inside from the front but rejects a lot of heat.

Correct, it’s a inaccurate representation. Not trying to be rude. The iPhone, particularly for night photos, can expose much more light than the human eye can see. It would be deceptive.

This is what scared me from going away from doing the whole windshield. One rock chip and there goes the few hundred you put into tint on the windshield. Thats why I am sticking with the brow.
