Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad in Romney WV. Imo Fall is the best time of the year for the train ride.

Do they do cocktails by any chance, or is it a dry railroad? Booking now either way

Good afternoon everyone. I had to come inside to soak up some AC, I'm forcing myself to get back onto the deck project, I want to use the darn thing this summer! I'm trying to adapt a vinyl starter strip to work with the aluminum siding on my house. It might work but it's pretty clear that the 2 types of siding were never meant to work together.

@ $500Dave- I know that intersection all too well, my dad's old row house was on Boston Ave, just before it merged into German Hill Rd. I haven't been by that area in a few years.

Is it ok if I send you a text? I would like to ask you a few questions about something.

I honestly can’t tell if my tint helps with the heat or not because it was one of the first things I had done and I bought the truck in the winter.

My truck sleeps in the driveway so it’s not covered. I use one of those windshield sun deflector things and that thing is money.

It may be a placebo effect, but I went with ceramic and it felt a lot better on the drive home. Yeah mine stays outside too. I think a windshield deflector is probably next on my list. Crossposted from another thread lol.

    Omg I love your truck.

    :101010:

But yeah I bet ceramic will help a lot. I got the normal stuff because my dogs tend to scratch up the tint so I didn’t want to drop the money just to have it all scratched up.

Thanks man. Ah gotcha, that makes sense. Lol, your truck was a big inspiration when I first got mine. Love how clean it is

I thought we had talked about it! lol i have a terrible memory, sorry.

What size Wildpeaks are those? Also, is it lifted at all? I’m actually thinking about dropping my Bilsteins down a notch because the 265’s look a little silly right now. Your tire size setup looks perfect.

They're 265/70 17's. Wheels are 17x8.5 et0 so the tires appear bigger. No lift yet, but I'm thinking of just going with 5100's and add a leaf for the rear. It's my DD/weekend camping rig, so I'm not trying to go too crazy with it but I do want it to sit a little higher.

    Gotcha!

That’s exactly what I’m running now…5100’s on stock springs and the Icon AAL. It’s perfect for the trail riding/daily driver rig in my opinion. I’ve been super happy.

Oh awesome! That's good to hear. I was considering getting them with the springs/tophats already installed, but we'll see. I think it was like $50 more for the set, so I might be lazy and do that instead of dealing with compressing my springs

lol yeah that would be worth the money!

I’ve posted some stuff about it in my build thread but I’m not sure if any of it would be helpful. I just had a shop install the bilsteins with the stock springs. I’m not afraid to admit that is far beyond my mechanical capabilities hahah
