Ah ok cool, I’ll check it out. After working on airplanes the last several years, working on a vehicle is A LOT less intimidating for me lol. I just don’t have access to a spring compressor otherwise I’d keep my stock springs and swap them over.

 

Oh yeah I’m sure cars are easy then haha. I have heard the at home spring compressor thing can be suuuuper sketchy

I just found your build thread, I’m gonna check it out later when I have time to read through it all.

 

Using the trucks weight to compress the spring is the way to do it! I’ve done it that way several times. Would not work with Kings, Fox or Icons though

Another beautiful day on the lake… until, what felt like, the storm of the summer hit us for about an hour!! Heavy rain, winds from all directions, white caps and rain coming in the boat sideways that felt like ball bearings.

Well everything is off the frame rails but the 2 hour kids birthday party turned into us getting home at 930 tonight. I had to touch up a couple spots on the powder coat so I had to wait for the paint to dry. Wasn’t bad enough to make a stink about so I just painted it. Should be ready to mount up first thing tomorrow.

Exactly. I’m always like “you can’t take this away from me!!”

 

There are other things she can take away.

 

It’s Codorus state park up in Hanover, PA. The lake is just about 30 minutes from my driveway to the dock, with boat in tow. It’s a beautiful park with tons of hiking and MTB trails, camp sites, and they even rent pontoons up there so anyone can get out on the lake. Definitely worth a visit!

I think we’ve all been in that situation… I like to try and balance things out via the mail. Whenever I order something dumb (that I really want), I order her something dumb (that she’ll really want). And before hand I’ll tell her not to open any packages that may come, that I got us both some stuff… then she gets excited to see what her box contains and forgets (forgives) my box!
