    Finishing a two week vacation in the Olympic mountains. A very interesting place for bourbon. Initially I had trouble finding anything other than flavored stuff. I passed on the flavored stuff and stuck it out. I found a small store that had Wild Turkey. Nothing fancy, but it’s been nice to sip on for the last two weeks. Right before my trip ended, I stopped by a small grocery store.

    There are a few good honey holes in this neck of the woods. Prices on the shelves are pretty decent, but the liquor tax is what gets you.

    I suspect you are flying out soon, just be sure to arrive at SEA early. TSA lines during peak times are running about 1 hr. Airline ticket counters are not far behind that either.

    I've been to a few AirBnBs that have a nice little liquor selection available from previous guests. When I went to St. Maarten for my honeymoon a few years ago there was a more than half full bottle of Blanton's in the cabinet... it was definitely not half full by the time we left.
