I’ve already found a couple that meet my criteria, just need to check them out and do some more digging to see if any others are out there. I’ll likely be selling and buying private party to really stretch my dollar.

I did a quick search with my zip code up here, 86004 and there was a few options in Vegas area on that Autotempest website
Remember 15+ is facelift and updated interior model, which does make it easier for some mods.

I would definitely prefer the facelift, looks a lot better. I’m not opposed to earlier ones though since it’s the same power plant and will be just as reliable. I’m more interested in lower mileage than newer year.

anybody got an hvac recommendation in Flag? Fan randomly started running Thursday, despite the thermostat being off. Called a few places Friday but of course due to the heat they're booked out. The fan did cut off sometime overnight Friday. Guessing it is a thermostat/relay issue.

Who is a good tint guy to use in the west valley? I’m getting real tired of my truck being 180 degrees when I get in it during the day. My focus ST with UV tint has spoiled me and made me regret driving the project the last week.

I had Aladdin’s Window tinting do the windshield on the minivan. Didn’t need anything else done because the rest was already done in ceramic.

His prices are higher but worth it imo because of the quality of the install and the higher end film he uses, suntek. Regardless of where you go, I highly recommend getting the windshield done too in 70% ceramic. Doesn’t reduce visibility at all and makes a huge difference in heat rejection.

He’s technically east of the 17 but fucking close to being west side. He’s done half a dozen vehicles for me and hooks up the TW members. Just mention Tacoma forum and he will work up a deal. You can search this thread and his name pops up a bunch.

Is he mobile? I’m in surprise so anything east of the 101 is a bit of a drive.

    Nope. Not mobile. Well established.

One thing I learned about living in Phoenix is sometimes it’s worth the drive to the other side of the valley. It’s not worth staying in a little corner. Hell, we drove to Mesa, Chandler, etc as west siders.

I had Omar do my tent and it was an acceptable job but can get pricey if you want the higher grade tent. I don’t recall receiving any TW discount but not sure I even asked. He did say it was a lifetime warranty so we’ll see how that goes. I do need to reach out to him to redo the front windows since the film got scratched from dirt/sand.

I always go top of the line. Worth it in the heat. I also burn with 100 spf in a tinted vehicle. Much better with a ceramic windshield.

Got some progress on the washer/dryer, but of course everything allllllways goes sideways the second you start.

Get behind the walls and find a spot for the vent, start to drill it, hit a joist, dammit. No room anywhere else because of the stupid water hoses and drain lines for the water softener. Nothing is where it needs to be, and the one stud is dog legged BAD. Like laughably off kilter.

Look at the one all the way to the far left towards the corner. Look at the top, then look at the bottom. They even had to crush the insulation in there! :jpow:

Ended up moving the vent to the left side of the far left stud, as it was the cheapest option.

Drywall is still mangled, but we have a game plan. I'm gonna use one of those QD twist locks on the wall, Fiancee is gonna fix the drywall (ayyy marry you a girl who did built ins and closets for a living!) and we should be able to get the stack reasonably close to the wall.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
I'd send you farther East for Tint - I went to Top Tier and they took good care of me and gave me a discount for the AZ Tacomas group on Facebook (about the only thing that group's been good for).

I'll second that for anything skill-based, a drive is always worth quality work.
