What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It’s very minimal. I don’t want to trim trim the black fenders halfway just yet. It looks good the way it is. I’ll have to really think about this before I start chopping more shit.

Best I did on my 2018 was 610 km (380 miles) after some long highway runs for work. Generally 90 km/h (55) with cruise. (Can’t speed on duty)
That’s with Toyo 235/85/16 tires so the real range was about 400 miles.
That’s with a manual running 91 octane.

 

Very straightforward. No drilling but you do need to enlarge an existing bolt hole in the frame.

 

This weekend was a few little things; installed OEM running boards, LED bulb swap in the interior, License Plate light cover from a TW member (i think), Blackout on the exterior emblems.

I had so much fun trying to figure out how i F'd up the dome light, even pulled the fuse and it was that i had the interior lights switched to off.

I appreciate the threads on here so much as I'm completely new to all of this.

 

@Prodigy926 - any suggestions on how to pop the bulb out there? i dont have massive hands but i couldn't twist it enough to get access to the bulb.

Relocated the tag cause it kept getting mangled. Had a hard time picking a tag bracket. I almost died laughing at this one.

There's obviously lots of variables but the main one is our driving habits.

I've reached upwards of 350-370 on my display...and I'm satisfied with that considering it's a 3.5L engine w/22gl tank.

EDIT: And he fact, it's a mid-size truck.

 

Installed an awning nothing special had heard good things about the Napa awning for $140 too good to pass up on. Also swapped wiper blades. Once the day cools off I’ll finally get around to installing my sequential turn signals.

 

Not this time. I found a simple solution and just going to trim the fender liners a little when it get cooler out today

Yesterday I installed TRD Pro tail light housings with the VLEDS Vtails kit and replaced some knockoff black side mirror covers, which had faded and discolored a bit over two years, with OEM black covers. Chrome delete is nearly complete!

Today I installed the TRD intake flow accelerator.

Today, I received my brand new Tail lights, they are off the older versions of the Tacoma. IMO i like them better then the ones that came with my Brand new 2023 TRD 4x4. I have changed LOTS of things on this truck so far

Agreed. Older version wins on looks.

 

Looks great. Can you get a shot from farther back? Looks like Silver Sky Metallic, if so I have the same color. Would love to see more of the truck. Looks awesome up close.
