The 3 antennas on top look weird

 

Looks like a transformer that didn’t make the cut.

 

They could’ve integrated the 3 antennas into that rear spoiler thing

 

Can’t even think about cake, or it goes straight to the thighs…

... Or sometimes a new generation styling design is just dog-butt ugly and over-done: i.e.: "Transformer's" overdone, which seems to be the current trend on everything: especially the front end on Toyota trucks, Lexus and BMW: One word: "Edsel"

Oh: Almost forgot: "Factory smashed-in rear bed-side quarter panels look" on the pending 4th gen. Genius! Make an insurance claim: No one will ever know. (for a while)

 

This, its insanely overdone and looks like a transformer that is trying to hard, is it from a design point with the trend today, yes they for sure nailed it, but those that think its clean and looks amazing will probably think otherwise in a few years, it will not age well, just too much going on, there's freaking vents in the over done fenders for cryn out loud. Not arguing its cool but its definitely trying to hard which has been Toyota's MO as of late.

 

Just checked out the 2024 Ford Ranger configurator. If you want a more "traditional" looking midsize pickup, that's your choice! I think it's boring as all hell personally, and I'll be waiting for the Taco.

 

Agreed. The 2024 Ford Ranger looks like a butt.

 

I like the Ranger, too bad the lower trims didn’t get the traditional bumper like the Raptor. Nothing a winch bumper could fix. Off the list though since they ditched the super cab, find DCSBs idiotic.

 

The Raptor version looks okay. The normal ones look like Ford ordered the designers to avoid taking any styling risks whatsoever and make the most non-controversial (boring) design possible. At least the butt isn't as ugly as the previous gen with those comically oversized taillights!

 

Wow..... just wow. Not even close between Ranger and the much better looking New Taco - as in, balls in your face dunked on...

 

Personally I like understated, as I have nothing to prove. 4G Taco is trying waaaay too hard. Nice thing about the Ranger is you can go for stock understated or mod it to look more aggressive, whereas the Taco is in your face right off the bat. Too chest thumping machismo for me.

 

Probably cries itself to sleep every night too… project much!? lol!

Reminds me of those “Lions not Sheep” bros….ummm don’t lionesses do all the work? And the males lions lay around looking tough?
