    Installed these C4 fab sliders fresh from the powder coat , found them on marketplace for a price I couldn’t pass up. Super stoked with the way they look.

    I just finished with the led interior and license plate upgrade. I did it because the dome light was burned out anyway. Tacoma led map lights.jpg Tacoma led map lights.2.jpg

    And then I read about the problems caused by led "upgrades." We shall see. . .

    It's been more than a year since I changed mine to LED.

    I didn't disconnect the negative cable on the battery either. I used non-metal objects to disengage bulbs and tape to pull away bulbs that were tough to wedge out.

    On my 2019 sport double cab, do I have to mess with the headliner in anyway, or will I be able plug and play? Thanks

    I didn't disconnect the negative cable either. All power was off when I removed and replaced the bulbs. I only had one vanity light led installed backwards, but I reversed it and everything works. License plate leds were kind of a pain to remove/replace, but those eventually went in. The only problem is that the dome light will not go off after the doors have been closed. But that was the problem even before I did the upgrade. I think it's been that way ever since I bought the car.

    @k3ith99

    The dome lights should fade to dark once you step away with FOB...that's how my 2021 works.

    Earlier models I can't speak to.

    So, do you just turn off the dome light completely to prevent the battery from draining?

    I'll have to try the stepping away with the fob trick. Hopefully that works.

    I usually keep the map and dome lights off. If I need light at night I'll hit the map light. And then turn it off again before I leave the truck.

    This is one of the few things i changed on mine too, 2 days in. I also changed the front headlight low & high beams to LED & also changed the turn signal bulbs to led, then i bought the LED sequential Mirror lights.

    For the most part great my dad been going to them for years now the only issue I had was when I went for a oil change they broken one of the clips off the hubcap but they replace it. I had issues with the dealer in Raleigh would never do Business with them again.

    Just completed the bed lights, Spiker Engineering Hood struts, matte black overlays, gloss black TRD repro 17" wheels with Falken 265/70/17 AT3's, gloss black wheel lugs... all added to my new 2023 Wind Chill Pearl White Limited.

    TRD Pro grille and Hellwig rear sway bar next in line, as time allows...

    Funny, I'm thinking of doing that too. I'll wait a bit and see how this goes first.
