Yea I’ve had the KDMax tune for about a year and a half now. Maybe closer to 2 years.

 

Nice. How do you like it? Is that the KDMax Pro tune or the one before?

 

Lucky... I can't find anyone close to me who would do a tune on mine. That's why I have PC for now.

 

I absolutely love it. Right now I have the 9.0 tune. I haven’t purchased the 10.0 yet because I’ve been spending money on some other things first. I highly recommend it though, it makes the truck drive like a totally different vehicle (in a good way).

 

It seems like they’re always adding new tuners all over the country so hopefully they will have someone near you soon!

 

Hey go to the OTT website and it ll give you a map of the certified one closest to you. Where are you?

 

Yes I have heard great stuff about both KDMax and OTT; reason I am going with OTT is that is the one I started researching most and is close to me in area.

 

Makes sense to me! I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad thing about the OTT tune, I’m sure it will be awesome.

 

I ll definitely give you guys my thoughts on it. I started watching the Sibi Garage in Santa Ana Calif on YouTube and those guys are doing cool stuff with Tacomas and they have a tune called the Sibi Tune...so yeah I am not sure what is all out there. I would just go with the ones that have the most feedback and reliability and should be okay.

 

Yeah there is one in Ohio but too far for me unless he plans to drive out to here to do a tune service... if he won't do it, then nothing I can do about it.

But first, I have to get my truck serviced then I will get it tuned once I find a tuner.

It was an awesome trail. A couple spots got a little hairy because of a lot of mud and slick rock.

There were two creek crossings too, I was gonna try to get pics of those but the water was a lot deeper than I expected so I had to actually pay attention to not get stuck

 

You need a dash cam!

 

I have one! But by the time I remembered that I could grab the footage, I was already home and I didn’t feel like scrolling through 4 hours of video lol
