That's a horrible idea. What time?
Not necessary. We have enough former military here that no one does it. We actually had a neighbor that had his camera set to record anything on the sidewalk. He called out an offending party on our FB page by posting the video of him flicking the butt into his yard. You rarely see discarded cigarettes here.

Sorry to hear that. I just got back from a little trip. I hit up Peter's Mill Run, Flagpole Knob, and Reddish Knob. Camped a couple of nights I really needed that.

Haha, just what is proper to me and others that love West Coast IPAs from where they originated; definitely not what most would consider proper. I struggle to find what I like here in VA, so work trips to the West Coast are always a treat to me. Brought back about 16 in my luggage this time.

 Probably the most accurate clock for military time out there.

It was a FB meme. Couldn't find one for sale. I would have bought it for my spot in the cube farm.

Found one. Passed it up the first time because it was Air Force, which I knew wasn't correct as it wasn't based on "Tee times."

One week from today I'll be moved to Indiana :(

I'm also seriously considering getting a used Prius to have in addition to my 4runner as a daily car. Also since I'll likely be driving back and forth to VA a few times a year to visit family, having something with peak fuel economy seems like a good choice.

I'm really adopting the Midwest mindset of driving everywhere lol. But it really is similar elapsed time to fly vs drive considering proximity to airports on either end

I’m all for the idea, or perhaps a Corolla or civic. They’ll be less expensive, easier to maintain and still get 30+ mpg on the highway.

I've only flown back to Detroit once since I moved here, and that was because it was a short notice winter trip. It's an eight hour drive up, an hour longer than doing the airport when your arrival time at the airport is considered. And you still need a rental.

I would prefer to drive the truck back and forth, but the VW diesel gets 50+ on the freeway. When I drove it up there in February I arrived at our rental with a quarter tank left. That was nice.

When we moved Taylor to Madison, WI a couple weeks ago, I was getting 12 mpg with the Taco pulling a 12x6 u-haul lol. And holy shit, the tolls are freaking ridiculous, we spent almost $300 getting 2 vehicles out there and one vehicle back.

You were braver than me. I looked once at the mileage when we were in MI pulling the U-Haul back. Didn't want to know what it was in PA.

I felt like I was driving a Prius on the way home, 19 mpg on the flat parts and 17 thru the Allegheny Mountains
