Can you still buy one if you aren’t married and don’t play golf?

I think so but at that point you must have a polo shirt for every day of the week and hand your business card out to everyone you meet.

I started taking pictures of this rig from all angles and was confronted by the owner of the silver Chevy Silverado 1500 parked to the left. The owner of the Chevy obviously doesn't have very good eyesight and thought I was taking pictures of his license plate... o_O

The guy was fishing off of the pier, and I had actually talked to him when I parked to see if I was allowed to park where I parked, before he started fishing. He moved his truck from the original space near my truck and parked next to the Lexus, and rather aggressively demanded to know why I was taking pictures of his license plate. once I started taking pictures of the Lexus from the front. I looked at him like he was crazy, said that I wasn't taking pictures of his truck period, and explained that I was taking pictures of the Lexus next to his truck. He immediately apologized and went back to fishing. It wouldn't be the first time somebody thought I was taking pictures of their vehicle when I was not...

    :anonymous:

Back in the summer of 2013, I stopped at a used car consignment lot on 611 in Ottsville to look at the vehicles. It was a Sunday and they were closed, and there was a repair shop (also closed) directly behind the used car place. There was an absolutely mint red Chevy S-10 Xtreme at the garage, and I took some pictures of the S-10. Directly by the S-10 was a blue 1992ish Buick Roadmaster sedan. This old Buick was the biggest piece of shit ever, with peeling paint and no wheel covers; I had no interest in the Buick whatsoever...

Unfortunately, the owner of the Buick happened to be riding by as a passenger in his lady friend's car, a red 1997ish Dodge Intrepid; I can still remember this vividly...

I was taking pictures of the S-10, and I heard a car turning onto the gravel lot (the aforementioned red Intrepid); I looked up and saw the Intrepid heading towards me at a dangerous rate of speed. I stepped to the side and the car actually seemed to AIM IN MY DIRECTION! The woman driving actually turned the wheel and aimed the car at me, then turned left before she would have actually hit me, and this angry little man in a wife beater hopped out of the shotgun seat; I was livid and immediately started screaming it at him because I felt the driver of the Intrepid had tried to run me over.

He brushed this off, seemingly thinking that his friend's actions were justified because I was taking pictures of his car, and started screaming at me; I asked him if he owned the red S-10, and just kept screaming about "his car"; I finally said "you mean the Buick?"

He said yes, and now it was my turn to make him feel like the fool he was; I said I was not taking pictures of the Buick, and only the red S-10. The S-10 was not his, so he didn't give a shit. He said that the garage was his buddy's, and he wanted to make sure that I wasn't up to no good...

It was broad daylight and I was wearing a floral print Hawiian shirt, I was driving a 3-year old truck with less than 30K miles, and I was carrying a Nikon camera was easily worth more than his shitbox Buick. If I wanted to be sneaky and try to case the place for a robbery or something, why the hell would I dress the way I was dressed and be wandering around in broad daylight?!?! Seriously asshole, I'm not interested in your early 90s methmobile...

I told my parents, some family members, and a few of my friends about this. My uncle suggested the guy owed money on the car and was trying to hide it from the repo man, though this made little sense because it was a $500 shitbox (unless he did one of those car title loans). My dad believed that might have had drugs or something else illegal stashed in the trunk. One of my theories is that he was going through a divorce and hiding the car from his wife...

Anyway, I went back to the property a while later during normal business hours and talked to the owners of both the consignment lot and the repair shop. I asked the owner if one of his customers was a short guy with a shitty blue early 90s Buick Roadmaster, and he said that he did not have a customer with such a vehicle; I think that the guy owed money to somebody and was hiding the car in plain sight. Ten years later, the consignment lot is still there, but the garage has been vacant for years...

Not off the board yet. It would have to be a C8 though. The wife really didn't get a hard on with the C6.

CTS-V or CT-5 Blackwing is still an option. I will have to move out of Colorado to afford the insurance though. I looked at insurance for that M4...978.00 every 6 months.

Ehh, that’s not cheap, but others on here are complaining about much worse.

You got me wondering how much a sports car like that would cost me at under 30 y/o. Probably a legitimate arm and leg.
