Man, I love that camper shell. I've been trying to find one on fb marketplace in socal for months and months. Super cool and old school. Nice looking truck.

Took the mud flaps off finally and installed my RCI sliders. I love it.

Have had it a month. Only 375 miles on it, but I did the following the last 2 weekends.

    - Took off the stupid TRD bed stickers.
    - Seat jackers. Got a 4 piece set on ebay for $55 new. Exactly the same as the "original" expensive ones.
    - Screen / instrument panel film from Screenpros. Wow. the center screen went from SD to 2160p. Not kidding.
    - Bed stiffeners - Sorry Caliraised, but there is a set on Amazon for $35 that work and are exactly the same as yours.
    - Installed my 32" inch dual LED light bar. Again, brackets off ebay. They didn't require any custom fab on my end. Fit perfect. PS, there is a perfect grommet spot next to the brake master. Pull that plug and go to town.
    - Installed the Caliraised dual switch into my panel. Waiting for the harness to illuminate it. Not destroying my OEM wiring.

    This weekend

    - RSI Evo A to be installed.
    - Roof racks on the Evo A

Drove from my place near Houston to San Antonio and back with my other halfs cousin. The cool part about this is when I stopped along the way to pick him up, my Taco got it's first taste of a non-paved road. My truck went from clean to immediately covered in dust lol. Was fairly impressed about how well it handled on loose dirt/gravel. On the way back, about 40 minutes south of my place. He spotted a sign that said North Shore Park. Confused that neither of us were aware of this place, I turned around and we went to check it out. Turns out it's a camping park on Lake Bastrop lol. Place is nice and seems like a camping trip in the near future is going to be planned. How I have lived here 12 years and not known about this park is beyond me. I've been going to Possum Kingdom all this time. I stopped at the boat launch and snapped a pic. truckcamp_4d0437e20198e1596ad5017bc518b4ad1e9ce0c2.png free high resolution images

I also started my rock lights install. I say started because step one is to mount the control box inside the vehicle. This is problematic because the lead wires are only a foot long, so in order to get wires through the firewall grommet, I guess I have to mount the control on the firewall ?? Stay tuned.

PS: I've cut my gatorade intake by half.. lol. Replaced with flavored water (sugar free)

Thought I did my research but obviously not enough. Should have joined this site before and not after I got my truck, lol. Was going to go the 5100 route but just figured I’d go stock for a while and see how things go. Sits a bit low for my liking but rides way better. Might keep it like this until new tires are needed but we’ll see how things go. Seeing the age clock just ticked past 50 and it’s not counting backwards I might enjoy getting in and out at the lower height, lol

A 32oz water bottle does not fit in my diver side door. If it did I wouldn't be spending the money on this.

I run 5100’s in the rear only at stock height and it rides fantastic, especially when loaded.

Knocked a few things off the punch list.

    TRD replica wheels installed
    Dirt King Uppers installed
    Hood scoop light installed
Debadged it and made some matte black vinyl stickers on the cricut.
Made stickers for the blank center caps
    Made stickers for the uppers.

These were definitely easier to install than the Clazzios. And I know that these won't crack over time. Plus, these were a LOT cheaper.

The driver's side was cracked and worn out. Too expensive to get fixed. (clazzio customer service was terrible)

Thanks for the info. Looked at a bunch of different options but decided stock was best for now instead of throwing more parts and money at it.

Yeah it stinks...I have a manual and there are no options to upgrade it. Might have to do the chalk bag mod.
